Finix Construction did a great job renovating our East Brunswick apartment top to bottom. Dmitry…read morewas responsive and fair. No problems!! Vinnie S

The owner Dmitry came out to see my basement what the last contractor did wrong and at first said…read moremy basement was fine and to leave it alone with all the shotty work I pointed out when the contract was not followed. He kept defending the other Contractor said there must have been a lack of communication which got me worried on the quality of Demety's work. Who doesn't follow a contract? I pointed out the sunken floor, the pocket doors were not done correctly, tile not flat, but wavy, tile grid off, bad spackling and poor painting errors on the molding and the walls. Speaking of walls, I showed him my walls were curved and corners not 90 degrees. He said, well the inspections pass so there should be no issue and my problems can be fixed no problem. Inspectors only look at if the walls are up and structural issue and there is not going to be a fire issues with wiring and flooding and the town gets your money. Inspectors don't look at quality of work. Your floor tile could be upside down and they will pass you. I explained that to him. He worried me with what he had to say and red flags came up. At the end of his visit, he said there is a lot of repair what the previous contractor did and he is not in the business to repair work done what I have, because it is too messy and he gave me advice what I should do to leave it alone. What kind of contractor does not improve the situation I want to hire him for? A contractor who does the same kind of work and makes the same mistakes in my book. Pass on this guy. Now he is lying and to answer on his reply. He wrote to me a month ago, Estimated cost for refinished basement will be $30,000.00+ To make estimate more accurate need to now full info lights, plumbing, quantity of the rooms My email info@finixconstruction.com please let me know if that fits your budget Regards Dmitry He knew I needed a quote for my attorney like the others and I have wasted so much time making drawings and showing these guys around for one goal, getting a quote on paper, sue and have them fix my basement.
