I walked on the dock with my Rum Punch. It was very good. This was such an awesome place to sit back and enjoy your drinks. They have a bar area and places to sit with plastic patio tables and chairs in front of the marina. This is a hidden a gem so glad that i found it. Now I will visit when I am in the area or with family visitors. This is definitely a locals area only they could know about, but really feels like you just went on a mini vacation that is not that far from home and is not traffic crowed.

My initial review was as a brand new slipholder who had been promised the world, and a professionally managed marina experience... The one star review is due 100% from the interpersonal skills (specifically, the lack thereof) and the absolutely appalling customer service abilities of their Harbormaster, Mackenzie McGuckin. I've been a boat owner for over two decades. I'm also a yacht broker AND a corporate delivery captain. I spend over 150 days a year on the water in various marinas all over America. In all of my time - in virtually every State in this country that has water, I have never experienced anything like this petty, angry young woman. She actively seeks conflict and confrontation with vendors and slip holders. Good luck trying to have your favorite vendor work on your boat in this marina -- she is so universally despised in the local marine workforce, that I have had numerous people simply refuse to work on my boat. The few that do work in there have to comply with her onerous and arbitrary "rules" she makes for them. Hiding under the guise of "corporate policy", she is thrilled at the ability to turn away licensed, bonded, and insured marine professionals and to inconvenience the very people she is there to serve - her slip holders. After a year long lease at this property, I can not WAIT to move my boat. There is a very good reason this marina is the only one in the area that doesn't have a wait list for slips. Suntex Corporate would be well advised to get this employee away from ANYTHING customer facing. The single most unpleasant person I've met in the industry. She has a lot of growing up to do, and sadly, I am willing to bet that it will never happen in her case.
