First off, anyone who has been complaining clearly did not listen to JR's instructions on how to take care of the window tint for the few days after it has been applied. He did an amazing job, quickly, and for the best price I've seen from Margate to Opa-Locka. I've been looking around and this is the best. Not only did he do an amazing tint job, but my new 2018 Honda Accord was involved in a hit and run and where Honda quoted me $400+ to fix it, JR hooked me up and treated me like I was family. Honestly, it's very unfortunate how business owners lack customer service skills, if it wasn't for how "affordable" the service was I should have left after this unpleasant experience. He did the front glass incorrectly when I came back to fix it he gave me a lot of attitude and claimed he was out of material I was already prepared for the worst in the end I told him to give me my money and take back what he had done to me I was ready to do anything with him because I was not going to let him blackmail me like this. read more

Unprofessional owner super rude that thinks he can talk behind costo era back. Stating that if I want the tints darker I can paint the glass. Mind you my truck isn't tint is smoked from factory and want darker tints in the back. Owner is a clown and the workers have no work ethic. Don't recommend this place at all. Avoid this place , run from here. Very disrespectful people. Illegally operated business they do not have a legitimate way of charging you. But they have an atm in lobby , pay ATM fee to them and no taxes. Better business bureau should investigate. The guy in charge had a bad attitude and acted very strange like he was under the influence of something. They do not have quality film , I had my front tint ripped off after they installed it and went somewhere else. Thank God , I am really happy to go somewhere else. I read almost all the reviews prior to coming but unfortunately was let down big time. I've had about 5 vehicle tinted by different shops and this was my FIRST disappointing experience! Basically, I got what I paid for. $20 per window was great in price but the quality was poor. There are some edges that go past the window (you can hear the tint paper crackle when I roll up the window due to the excessive paper), the seam cut along the top of the window was completely uneven, corners missing and just messy cut work. One of the windows, the tint wasn't even fastened to the actual glass on the corner and has already dried and another wasn't pushed into the rubber border of the window and is coming out as well. I wanted to love the work, which I did before I was able to roll my windows down. I finally rolled my windows down 4 days after the job (just as he advised) and that's when all the poor workmanship was exposed. I will be going bk for a removal and refund once I come bk into town because I'm very displeased and unhappy with the work. JR tinting were very polite and personable. I was seen timely therefore I am basing this review solely on the service rendered. read more

This place of business is top notch, you get a lot more then just job you pay for. If your vibe is right, because of the top Jr can seem all business, but he is full of life and wisdom. I've recommended at least a dozen of my Friends and Family here and I've gotten nothing but thanks for from them for the workmanship. And I've had 6 vehicles of my own done here, and I didn't look for a discount for recommendations or return service. I'm a union man and I appreciate craftsmanship, besides our motto for what I do is "Skilled Labor isn't cheap, and cheap Labor isn't skilled". This review is based on customer service and not the actual work. My husband took my nephews car to be tinted at Jr's Tinting. He'd waited with the vehicle all morning and then asked me (because I work nearby) if I would pick him up on my lunch break so that we can eat together and then bring him back to Jr's. I arrived at 12:04 pm and as my husband was getting ready to get in the car with me, the only guy working there told us that we needed to be back by 12:30. So I quickly left to get take out at a fast food place nearby and rushed right back. We pulled up at 12:32!!!! The doors were closed with our car locked inside. Since we had our food, we decided to park there and eat while we decided on our next move. My husband called the number on the sign outside but no one answered. Then suddenly at 12:40, the garage door flew open and the guy came out yelling and gesturing to my husband, "Come on, LET'S GO!" Okay...grant it, we were a few minutes late (trying to drive in a warehouse district in Hialeah with all those huge trucks taking up the roadways, is a bit HECTIC). Also, The business hours do not mention that they close at 12:30. It clearly states open 9-7. What I think he was trying to do was hide inside until we left to prove a point or something. He wasn't counting on us sitting there eating our lunch. That's why he came out in a rage! We simply remained calm as he stomped about with an angry snarl on his face. If he's in such a rush, why was he closed up inside for the 8 minutes that we sat in the parking lot eating (because we thought he was gone)???? And then his attitude totally killed it for me. Customer Service is a huge part of your business! I don't like leaving bad reviews but I was completely thrown by his demeanor! Then after the transaction was complete, we backed the car out and he locked up, jumped in his truck and sped off. There was no apology for his attitude, no thank-you for patronizing my business...just sped off! What the EFF?!!! We were 2 minutes late! Mind you, your customers wait for you for hours!!!! FOH dude!!!!! BTW...there are many better places to take your car for tint. The windows under the tint are still dirty! You can find better with much better service all over the place! read more

There are scratches, bubbles everything, window wasn't cleaned well so the window looks dirty, even if you wash it with water. Be very careful when using JR tinting , I pick out a tint and got installed another one . Could not tell until while car was in the shop . I should of noticed when I picked out my tint that he was trying to talk me out of getting the one I wanted and insisting on the one he wanted . I do not recommend this place. I took my vehicle here, because someone recommended it. Well first let me start off by saying I had two scratches on my car window from them doing the tint and they tried to say it was already there. Then they forgot to put the tint on my back drivers side window. When I brought my vehicle back to the shop and asked for compensation since I was 30 mins away and missed a meeting.
