I bought a double den radio system a few months ago from here. I had asked for Apple car play and was told this was the best system. Unfortunately, I have had so many issues with it. Not worth it for the price. The way it sits gives a huge glare to the back windows. I had to even come back to get my windows tinted to see if it would help. The microphone for making calls is so poor. They added a second mic to the corner of my car to help and it still doesn't work well. I have to put people on speaker phone when making calls instead. It disconnects all the time mid drive and sometimes doesn't even connect at all. When it gets too hot (living in FL means daily) it completely freezes and won't disconnect so I have no way to access the gps on my phone because it won't disconnect from Bluetooth at that point. I have to physically turn my car off at a light and turn it back on for it to work. The time always reverts back to central even though I put it to eastern every time. I hate making bad reviews but I don't want to someone to spend a lot of money and be disappointed like I am. read more

The staff is nice and willing to answer all of your questions, but don't expect perfection. Brought my car in 2 weeks ago to get a light ceramic film on the windshield for the heat, and while it looked good at first, when I was able to clean it (they tell you to wait about a week before cleaning it, while the film sets) I found some wrinkles right in front of the driver, so I went back, and the guy that was at the counter apologized and said he can have it redone in a few hours. I left the car, took an Uber home and waited a couple hours till they called that it was ready. That level of customer service won me over, so I decided to do my front side windows (replacing the tint that was on there when I bought the car, it had scratches and was bothering me). Unfortunately, after this time there are more issues with the windshield, a couple of spots that look like the tint was crinkled while installing, and won't go away with time, and the front side windows also have a substantial amount of dirt under the tint. All in all I'm out $120 for the windshield and $180 for the front side windows and I can't say I got my money's worth. The customer service truly is great, the woman that was at the front desk one weekend was very polite, as was the gentleman that was there the following weekend. They use high end 3M ceramic film (3M stamps the film, it will come out with alcohol when you clean the windows the first time) and the temperature in my car after a day in the sun is much lower. I really wish the experience was better and I could give a higher rating, as well as have the remaining windows done with ceramic film as well. read more

The backup camera on my 2013 Kia Optima wasn't working. I spoke with Edgar on Tuesday and he told me to bring car in this morning at 9:00 and he'd take a look at it. Wasn't sure if it needed fuse or wiring issue or replace camera. Gave me an estimate over the phone for new camera plus installation which was half of what Rick Case Sawgrass Kia wanted to charge $250 just to run diagnostics and they couldn't give me an estimate to replace camera nor could they tell me how many days it would take to service. When I arrived I realized my husband had all our cars window tinted with Edgar as well as stereo systems and upgraded fog lights. Edgar has been in same location doing business for over 30 years providing honest excellent service. By 9:30 the job was complete and I am a very happy satisfied customer. Please consider using American Auto Tints and ask them what other service they provide. read more

One of the few places in south Florida to have ceramic tints (best/newest tint technology). It does not come cheap. But, that's what I got and it comes with a life time warranty which I had to use to get them replaced because they didn't place the back correctly. My problems : The front desk was not very attentive and gave me the prices but no explanations Tints have wrinkles Felt rushed and pushed out the door. read more

My time at American Auto Tints was below average compared to other tint providers in the tri-county area. With that being said, I have a certain standard when it comes to services provided by a respectable business. When I first arrived the gentlemen at the desk didn't seem very attentive, and I was the only person in the shop, it was around 8am. I had to coerce him into actually recommending which product he uses that has gotten the best feedback. Without much help from him, I decided on the 18% all around. The job took roughly 2 1/2 hours, and my vehicle was returned to me with keys, and $180 out of pocket. My dissatisfaction comes when I seen that they didn't do the front windshield banner tint. I returned the next day, and the gentleman informs me that he doesn't include it in an all around installation because some cars come with it. I don't see how this relates to my situation because you can clearly see that I didn't have it, and when I ask for all around, he should've assumed ALL Around. But I understood where he was coming from, and quickly asked for the installation, he told me it would be an additional $20 charge, and he can fit me in the next day. After coming back and having the installation done, he charges me $30 instead of what was said verbally, and I check the tint and see the banner comes below the legal parameters for windshield tinting. And on top of the insult, there was trash and residue left in my vehicle. So I'm currently driving a liability if a officer deems fit, and feeling disrespected by the business conducted by this establishment. I feel cheated out of $210 for tints, and dissatisfied at the service provided by this company, and recommend driving more east by 441, where you can find the same quality tint, for a much better price. American Auto Tint is a skip for me, and it should be for you. read more

I got my car tinted back in 2015 with them and my back window didn't start bubbling till 7 years later.it's Florida and very hot so it's going to bubble . Absolutely great shop. I brought my 2006 Corolla here to get tints and keyless entry. They had it done in 2 hours for half the price of the many other places I called in advance. Edgar is helpful as all heck and really treated me like I mattered, not like just another moneybag. Two days after I got my tints I had my car broken into (yay ft liquordale) by way of a smashed window. I brought it back to Edgar and he redid the tint free of charge and refused to accept a tip. I just went back there and purchased a new car stereo and he had it installed and running perfectly within an hour. I highly recommend this place. read more

I just got my a 2013 nissan sentra tinted. They charged me 137.00 with taxes. I only waited for an hour while my car got done. The location is easy to get to and has plenty of options while you wait. The tints came out great. The only thing that made me uneasy was leaving my car and not leaving any info or filling out anything. Other than that they were pretty efficient. The tints also have a lifetime warranty so no bubbling. I would recommend this place! read more

I took my car back to auto dimensions after 12 years after having my windows tinted. I still had my receipt from 2003 which stated lifetime warranty. Believe it or not, they honored the warranty on the tint, no charge. Now that is what I call an ironclad warranty. They backed their word and redid the tinting after 12 years of the car in the hot Florida sun. Take your car here for tinting!!!!! read more

I have a BMW 335. Took my vehicle there two years ago to get tinted. I paid for the 3 year warranty since vehicle is a lease. Makes no sense to purchase lifetime. Well two years later, tints start to fade and turn purple. I bring car in with receipt and they tell me "3 year warranty only covers bubbling and peeling, only lifetime warranty covers fading." I told him they never told me that in the beginning and he just stared at me. I said thank you and walked out and he made no attempt to work something out with me or even to try to keep me as a customer. That is the last time I bring my vehicle there.
