During the final walkaround/payment visit, we advised we had picked up hundreds of nails around our property and dozens in the street, and we were told the neighbors "can send me the bill." We were also told someone would return with a magnet for another sweep, but that did not happen. We also pointed out damage to our newer fence and were told it would be repaired, but no one returned. In 2025, we experienced a leak that caused interior water damage requiring professional water mitigation. We attempted to resolve the matter directly, but reimbursement was refused. We ultimately filed a small claims case in Hood County, Texas. On December 9, 2025, the Justice of the Peace Precinct 3 ruled in our favor for remediation costs and court costs. A+ Roofing's website highlights "Honesty" and "Integrity," including: "You can expect honesty in all that we do," and "We stand by our word..." Based on our experience, we did not receive the level of follow-through those statements imply. As payment was not received within the voluntary period, an Abstract of Judgment was filed in Hood County on January 13, 2026 (Document No. 2026-0000520). Charged me $510 and told me to try somebody else (recommended I call the plumber that originally installed it). That plumber had it pinpointed in minutes and got it solved. When I spoke with the owner of this company, he said his guys are trained to trial and error for 2 hours before actually trying something else, such as a camera. I would have had to pay another service call with minimums just for this guy to come back out and use the tool he should have used out the gate, but clearly, these guys would rather charge the $210-$300+ per hour to eventually solve the problem on my dime rather than use the right tools to begin with. Having run service businesses for over 20 years, that is a very poor business practice. Use the right tools, troubleshoot properly, and charge appropriately. I would have been fine to pay the $510 and then some to get it right. However, I'm not sure that this would have been solved for less than $1,500-$2,000 with these guys. The owner was upset that I suggested they did a poor job and refused to refund anything. He did offer half off one hour of a future service call, and I told him I didn't trust them to do future service, so he basically fired me as a customer and hung up on me. Terribly unprofessional. Never doing business with them again, and you should think twice before trusting them!

They had the entire job completed in less than a week, and it was a big job as the home had never had a central system and all duct work in the attic and in the crawl space had to be installed. The next morning at 8:30am I got a text from the office. They set up my service call for that morning at 9:00 and told me cost to inspect and determine what needed to be done. The Technician, Josh, showed up right on time and was here for about an hour inspecting and ruling out issues that I was concerned about. In the end all I was charged was the inspection fee and now I have both piece of mind and a pathway of what I need to do. Very happy with my experience because finding a trustworthy HAVC company can be very hard. Honest and true to their word; I highly recommend.

They have never ran better. He did such a good job that we had him come service our house unit as well. This thing is old OLD.
