Why isn't this any closer to me? Found these guys at the real taco festival in Cincinnati and fell in love. From Northern Kentucky they are about 45 mins away but absolutely worth it! I would love to see them at more events especially in cincy or just the Tri-state area. They are located in the backyard of Narrow Path Brewing and last time I went there was a really bad wasp issue so just be cautious- I hope it would be fixed by now but I'm not sure since I haven't been back in while now. I'm very impressed with these tacos. This was my first time visiting this spot, and I'm really grateful that Loveland has new food options popping up. The area around here is super nice as well. There's a lot of outdoor seating and some fire pits. Definitely a great spot to bring friends In terms of the food, the steak was seasoned very well and there is really nothing I would change about it. The cod taco was also very delicious. The batter was nice and light, and gave a great crisp. Personally would like a little more sour/saltiness, but I also forgot to ask for a lime. I think that would've complemented the taco very well and balance out the fattiness of the massive cod piece. The tortillas were also really high quality. I'm genuinely impressed that a taco truck in Loveland is serving better tortillas than spots in Miami. Both portions were very generous and really highlighted the quality and flavor of the protein. J's Fish Tacos is a food truck located on the gravel lot of Narrow Path Brewing Co. There's plenty of outdoor seating, shaded spots, and fun games like giant Jenga. Service is quick and friendly and the menu is small, easy to order from and all of it is pretty good. My family and I walked here after kayaking at Loveland Canoe & Kayak. It's a short, easy walk (~10 mins). We ordered lots of tacos: beer-battered cod, beer-battered shrimp, and honey wasabi salmon. We also ordered fries with cheese, and fries with chorizo. Everything was delicious! If you like chorizo, I recommend ordering the fries with cheese and chorizo :9 it was so good and filling that I could order that alone next time. I don't drink but it was really nice having Narrow Path Brewing right there for those who do. You could order your food at J's then go get a drink at Narrow Path and by the time you're back, your food will be about ready. Because they are ridiculously expensive and not exactly overflowing with the main ingredient (fish) and no side dish such as slaw or chips or whatever. I hope you're not driving more than a mile to visit because that would be disappointing. The food truck has a semi-captive market, being that they cater to folks walking or biking the bike trail, or those enjoying a beer on Narrow Path's expansive patio. I know they're not getting rich off this endeavor but the food simply doesn't justify the price charged here. Ambiance: if it's a pleasant weather day (non-weekend) the ambiance can be very nice; if it's the weekend and it's pleasant out, you don't want to be anywhere near downtown Loveland between 11am-8pm, a traffic and people-clogged nightmare.
