Do not recommend! Look elsewhere. Bad communication, very poor value for the quality of…read moreworkmanship, and no follow through to ensure a functional result. I just finished a custom home construction where Patriot Electric was the subcontractor handling all my electrical needs. Among all the subcontractors, they were the most problematic, by far. When we did the initial walkthrough with a senior member of the company in February, he was grouchy, inattentive, and refused to write down any of the details on the plans that we printed for him. My GC and I had spent many hours preparing for this meeting and presented the plan over a 7 hour meeting with him, and I guess he was just going to remember all these details when the work was done? Not unexpectedly, there were myriad mistakes when the team came to lay my wiring. Switches were wrong, outlets missing. When my GC called them to make corrections to their mistakes, it was met with hostility and annoyance - corrections were grudgingly made. The greatest issue I have with Patriot is that when I requested "dim to warm" overhead lighting - such as the Phillips warm dimming LEDs - I ended up with Smart lighting by Halo that must be programmed using an app to create "16 million different colors" (who needs THAT?). There was no discussion with me to ensure they had selected the correct product. Before I knew it, they were installed all over my house. It turns out that these recessed smart cans are not compatible with a wall dimmer and are wholly dependent on using the WizApp in order to direct their brightness and color. Three months after the final electrical trim was complete, my overhead can lighting is still not functional and no one (including Patriot) can make this lighting function as designed. When I turn on my kitchen, 5 lights are "warm white" and 2 lights are "cool white". If I flip the switch, some of the lights even go from whites to purple or blue! Since these "smart" Halo cans came with a premium cost, I am angry and disappointed that I am still not in control of the lighting products that were selected by Patriot without discussion. The final cherry on top of this insulting sundae is that Patriot just submitted a $1700 bill to my general contractor for last week's visit to try to address the problems with my overhead lighting (failed again), to install an outlet that they missed on the plans, and to fix a pendant light that they couldn't get to function on the first 2 visits. This is on top of the $23,000 that I have already paid for their build services. If you have a simple project, unlimited funds, and don't care about customer service, this may be your company, but I'd personally recommend steering clear. The BBB is also receiving this feedback.

I keep telling myself just say no but I can't kick the dragon off my back so I just keep going. One thing I really don't like doing is electrical work. My house is a good fifty years old but not to bad. The people before me put up new drywall and did some other work but left the original plugs in the wall. So bad the plugs would fall out or be so loose as not to work, I.e phone Charger. Yes, whoever did it is fired in my book. I had to change one because I was hanging a tv up and the plug would drop out after a mere tremor. So here I am on the floor, a big guy with big hands and I suppose these green eyes don't focus the way they used to. Just Being honest it probably took me about an hour just on that one plug. I had two bedrooms and The rest of the living room and hallway to do. I'm still shaking My head when I think of it. I looked around and called Murphys Electric and left a message. The next day I got a call from them and I spilled out my dilemma. He very Nice and patiently listened and then told me they are very busy But he'll see what he could do. Will, by the end of the day he calls back and tells Me he has someone that will be here at 8 am the next day. I was speechless. Ok let's go for it and 8 am the next day Jed pulls up and I show him what I needed and off to work he goes. He had the first bedroom done in an hour! It was great and then he kept going. He even cut a beater opening in the bathroom where I had put up cedar walls and put the plug over the wood. He even spots the outlet that I put in and noticed it was out from the wall a little too much and fixed that up. I was very happy with the work and even showed him the lights I have on the deck where I have it partially roofed and has overhead lights and will have them come back to replace the lights with something like a Key Largo type fan. I have complete confidence in them.

The ceiling fans were repaired to working condition but not with the remote function. The electrician stated he would order two dimmer switches for the wall outlets and we could adjust the fans this way. He did not have the dimmer switches and said that he would order them for us and come back to install them. We were advised that the bathroom vent fan that we had purchased would not work in our location and therefore, was not usable. The electrician stated that he would obtain the correct fan for us and come back to install it. It was not an easy one to find. The chandelier was made to work but the electrician stated it was hanging on the electrical wire and had disconnected from the power. We asked if this was dangerous and should it be hung differently and he stated no, it was fine. We paid and he left. We turned on the chandelier and not only did it not work but the bulb blew in the pantry and none of the kitchen lights would turn on. We called the electrician back the next day and he came with another man that acted like he was in charge. They went out to the breaker box and flipped the breaker on and off and the chandelier came on again. The original guy seemed very upset that we hadn't figured this out and had called him back to fix it. Two days later a bulb blew again and the kitchen lights would not work once again. We called another electric company and after seeing what type of breaker we had, switched it for a different type and it has been working great ever since. The Completed Electric Pus electrician never called us to see if everything was ok or to bring the dimmer switches and the ventilation fan that he had promised. We tried to call but could not get an answer. We left a message and it was never returned. We would not recommend Completed Electric Plus.
