This is $6.00 worth of shrimp (black container). I ordered 2 grilled shrimp salads. Through door dash. They sent out two clear containers of shrimp, plus the salad greens and dressings. In one container there was 5 shrimp. In the second container 7 shrimp. I paid $ 3.00 extra for each salad to have extra shrimp. I called and complained that 12 small shrimp for two salads was not enough considering I paid for extra shrimp. I explained that I paid an extra $6.00. They sent the black container with 5 extra shrimp! I would say that is ridiculous! I have ordered theses salads before and they had more shrimp than this even without ordering extra shrimp. NEVER again people.....

Found this small place on a day trip to Port Arthur. Good food, did not disappoint. The pork rinds were the star of the meal and that queso dip! Great food, will be coming back to explore the menu.

I was working in Orange, Tx when I cam across this place. A friend took a couple of us here for lunch and next thing you know, my next three meals are at Judice's! This place has to be the best Cajun food I've ever tasted (no offense to the Cajun filks) in my life! Small Mom and Pop restaurant that i suggest everyone must try and the staff was super nice every time I ate here.

My last day in Orange Texas and I had still not tried any Cajun seafood. This place came highly recommended by the locals, so here I am. What a treat! It was packed by 11:30 for lunch, so we got our orders to go. Since I have never eaten this before, I spoke with the waitress and she gave me some suggestions. I decided on their three appetizer combo so I could try a couple items, along with a few other items to go. She suggested the jalapeno ranch dressing, so we added a few of those also. The wait wasn't that long, and besides, it gave me a chance to chat with some of the locals. Everyone is so friendly here! We got our orders and headed home to eat them. First of all, when we got it home and unpacked, they got it exactly right. Very nice! I sat down to eat and everything was as delicious as she promised! My father-in-law got the hamburger and onion rings because he doesn't like seafood. He enjoyed it ( we got it dry and I brought some secret sauce from his favorite place in El Paso, Charcoalers, so he was happy as a clam.). We got the order of three Pistolettes with Etouffee to share. They come with a red sauce, which I loved, but my mother-in-law prefers a cheese sauce, so she didn't like them as much. They were very yummy! I got the crab cake with a remoulade sauce, which was delicious (Although sad it only came with one), the spicy boudin balls (came with three, and you can get them not spicy, if you so desire) that were really good. My third choice was a Pistolette with Boudin. It was excellent. I think it was my favorite! My mother-in-law got the combo basket with onion rings, fried oysters and fried shrimp. I tried them all and loved them! Oysters are not my favorite, but these were really good, especially with their spicy jalapeno ranch and their cocktail sauce.

Sadly didn't meet expectations. We so badly wanted this place to stand up to expectations for good, local Cajun seafood unfortunately, it falls short of the two places we hold up as the "gold standard" and that is The Farm Royal (formerly in Port Arthur but sadly now closed) and Sartins in Nederland. The gumbo was ok but not great (why can't anyone get the roux burned just the right amount) and the fried shrimp and oysters we good but again, not great. On the plus side the portions are quite large (so bring an appetite) and the value is good. The place was also extremely busy and only had two wait staff so I will forgive some lapses in service. All in all an ok experience but I wanted more.

I came all the way from Kansas City to eat BBQ Crabs in SE Texas. Judice's came highly recommended from my friends that live here. They do them the right way! Seasoned like they should be!

    Angus steak.

Drove by when we were hungry so decided to stop by. It's a full house (I guess they get crowded for Happy Hour?) slower service since it's packed, but the 2 waitresses that were working are nice and friendly. You could make your own salad from the salad bar if you order a Bowl of Seafood Gumbo. It's Cute small restaurants. Came in for the steak so we gotta get it too. TheSeafood Gumbo is a huge bowl! It's a meal! Not just a snack sized bowl like some places. I do like the Texas sized portion.

    Seafood Mac w/shrimp&crawfish

Our waiter was awesome, appetizer was bomb but our main dish i give an 7/10. Would definitely go again to try another dish

Boudain Balls. Wish they'd been served hot. Or even warm.

A massive variety of seafood... I want to come back to try the other menu choices…read more The fish tacos were perfect and can be ordered blackened, grilled or fried. I chose a large order of the boiled shrimp appetizer and my husband ordered the fish tacos with charo beans. We shared and it was plenty of food (maybe too much) for lunch. The shrimp was clearly fresh but seasoned with a taste I didn't care for, however my husband liked it fine. I covered up the taste with cocktail sauce. It must be a local preference. Our server was the very best! She gave us great advice on what to order. She was friendly and attentive without being interrupting. Her name is Hillary and she is a real credit to the restaurant.

We gave it a shot when we first moved from the NASA area four years ago, so it was about time. I loved the fact they were open on Memorial Day, and they didn't seem to be too busy. Mostly golfers and their ilk. Our server was Kaitlyn, who was very fast. She reminded me of Mary Lou Retton. Very fast. Almost too fast? I asked a question about the amount of breading in the crab cake, and she said there was none. Seems unlikely, since crab cakes need a binder. I am intolerant of the gluten, so when she said the crab cakes had no binder, I was hesitant. I took the safe road and ordered the cucumber snacker and a boudin ball. My BF ordered a ribeye, and (because he thought he was super hungry), ordered chips and salsa as a starter. Kaitlyn brought out my wine and our chips and salsa straight away. The chips were very stale, the salsa was tasty but a little spicy for my taste. Everything arrived at our table at the same time, even though I ordered two apps as my meal. Kudos to Kaitlyn. The cucumbers were good, especially with the jalapeño ranch. No one can mess up a cucumber, but the jalapeño ranch was tasty. My boudin ball was meh. My BF ordered his ribeye medium temperature, and it arrived rare. Kaitlyn checked in on us a couple of minutes after the food arrived. He told her about the steak and she quickly whisked it away. ~5 minutes later, someone delivered the new steak. My BF enjoyed the new steak, baked potato and salad. When we visited four years ago, we felt rushed. I felt rushed this time as well. Obviously, Tia Juanita's is doing very well. You can't swing a rope without seeing another TJ's in SETX. It's probably just not our jam. I like a nice meal without feeling rushed. I also prefer to eat with a proper fork and knife. I would, however, like for the manager to respectfully respond to negative reviews. They seem to respond to positive reviews only.
