They have 24 flavours and each flavour side is coded by colour (blue for ice cream, green for sorbet and brown for yogurt). There's also a million specials on the boards such as blizzards, milkshakes, banana splits, soft serve and drinks). One scoop is $4.25, two scoops is $6.25 (taxes included in the price). I was able to sample two flavours before choosing. Service is a bit brisk. - Kulfi ($4.25 single) - never tried this before; it's a mix of Indian spices (ginger, cumin and cardamom) and four types of nuts. You get full pieces of nuts too. I tasted pecan and hazelnut. Creamy, refreshing like a chai (but better). Only unfortunate thing is it melted quickly outside. Cash only.

But, when a place so thoroughly abuses your trust (and basic belief in Mankind) - it is important to take to outlets like Yelp and share your thoughts. So it happened with my family in Montreal last nite - in search of ice cream - not many choices, found this YEH on busy St. Catherine's Street. Typical yogurt place - take a cup and fill it with as much and as many flavors of yogurt that you'd like - then top that off with stuff like candy and other toppings. Well we filled up a couple of cups, paid and sat down. And, as I was eating said yogurt, I thought to myself "this place has low expectations" - then I looked down to see that I was actually eating this crap yogurt. It was then that I realized that my expectations were lower than those of this business, and my Wife (who had walked to the back of the store to get napkins I believe) jumped up in the air. Yes friends, a big rodent out in the open in the back of the store. We promptly dumped our newly purchased yogurts in the trash and fled as quickly as possible. Lesson learned - dirty places with zero quality control and zero hospitality must be avoided, like the plague. Sorry to do this to the Yeh people - but I felt an obligation. The very worst of the worst - must be avoided. Any and all locations.

The shop's owner's father is in construction and he enjoys the wood. He loves the rustic feel like Geppetto, from the animation, hence the title of the shop. I took a delicious latte and the best ever almond croissant (it had lots of almonds unlike any pastry place). I highly recommend this beautiful, delicious and friendly place.

But I did go on a Sunday night so it was emptier than usual. There is a table in the center that has plugs for your charger cables but it's not the best seat. I wish they had more plugs in the corners of the store to be unbothered. It achieves the purpose of being a good Internet cafe to study or get some work done which is what I needed at the time. I assumed that someone was in there and after I waited at the table a while I saw a lady grab a key that was attached to a large spoon and open the door. So if you need to pee the key is hanging on a hook behind that short wall by the toilette.

Super smooth and flavourful. My friends also ordered the Matcha & Pistachio which was an ice cream blend. Heavy matcha flavour and I love that there are pistachios served on top! Since Crux opened, I try to go everyday. It's so convenient and directly in the middle of The Square. I'm going to become a regular there and you should try it ASAP.

However, towards finishing the muffin, we were able to really taste the baking powder in it, if feels like it didn't fully dissolve with the rest of the ingredients.
