Good evening, I am writing as a deeply angry and disgusted…read moreparent. Today, when I picked up my son Leonardo, I was informed he had SLEPT ON THE COLD TILE FLOOR because he was "hot." That explanation alone is UNACCEPTABLE, but it gets worse. He was WET when I picked him up this afternoon--his hair, his pants, his coat--completely soaked. And when I asked why, not a single staff member could give me an answer. "I don't know" is NOT an acceptable response when a child is returned to their parent in that condition. The lack of accountability, the carelessness, and the indifference are beyond disappointing--they are DISGUSTING. As someone with experience working in multiple daycares and schools, I know that if a 3-year-old refuses to sleep on a cot, you don't allow them to lay on a cold, dirty floor like an animal. You comfort them, you redirect them, and you provide care. The fact that this didn't happen is a complete failure on your part. Even a dog gets a bed. My son deserved far better than this. And yes, I will say it--had Leonardo not been a young Black boy, I believe this situation may have been handled with more compassion and urgency. He was neglected. There's no other word for it. Let me ask you this: How would you feel if you found out your child took a nap on the cold floor? Or picking him up wet and not exactly given an actual clear explanation ? If he was uncomfortable, if he was upset, if something happened--WHY wasn't I called? As his mother, I should have been informed immediately. Instead, he was left in that condition, and no one took responsibility. This is not just poor care. This is unacceptable. This is disgusting. This is neglect. Leonardo will NOT be returning to your center. I will also be reporting this incident to corporate and taking further steps as necessary. I expect a written explanation, not excuses. Do better!!!!! This is my review and what happened to my child

My son attended Tutor Time from March of 2022 - August 2023. Transition from home to daycare was…read morestressful for mom and dad and the staff was wonderful. His teachers have been phenomenal and so patient with him. Special thanks to Mariah and Diamond who had him in toddlers, Amy in Twos and Alyssa and Rachel in EP. Our son needed Birth to 3 services and all of the teachers adopted the strategies needed to help our son grow and thrive. They were even flexible with us about our continued enrollment after summer 2023 which gave us options as we planned for our son's transition to Pre-k and allowed us to breath a little. Sarah, your leadership and your leadership team are truly exceptional and I wish you, Alex and Liz continued success.

My son has been attending WCC for the past two years (since age 7 months) and I am thrilled with…read morethe experience we have had in both the Infant and Toddler rooms. Why we picked WCC - The HOURS! 7:30am-6:00pm! It was very difficult to find anyone open early and late enough for me to commute and handle traffic. Working 8-5 this availability is amazing. - The calendar - This center is only closed for major holidays and doesn't have any vacation weeks that you are still paying for. Cancellations or delays for inclement weather are also less than some centers (typically following the Woodbridge Town closings). - NAEYC Accreditation - Standards of this accreditation are strict and requires continual assessment. I wanted to know my child would be in a place that was implementing best practices and a process of continual quality assessment. - Rates and availability of part-time programming - Rates are competitive and the part-time programming I needed was available at the time of enrollment. - The environment - Our first visit felt comfortable and welcoming - and a bit old school. Why we stay at WCC - All of the reasons we enrolled continue to be relevant - Staff keep getting better and better! Each teacher offers a different skill set to complement the team and demonstrates how much they care about their work and my child every day. - Communication with teachers and the Director is excellent. Even at the end of the day, or during busy times, no one is ever "too busy" to discuss my child. The week's activities are always posted in the classroom so I can take a peek at what's coming up in the curriculum. - Enrichment programs - included in the daily curriculum are partnerships with the Woodbridge Library (next door), JumpBunch, and more. - Location - the playground and surrounding grounds offer a beautiful environment for outdoor play. The police station is adjacent to the center and their proximity gives me great peace of mind. - Parent Board - the Center was created by parents who work for other working parents and that hasn't changed. The Board is active, open to feedback, and ensures parents with children at the center always have a voice. We look forward to more years to come at WCC. I highly recommend anyone in Woodbridge or the surrounding towns look here if you are in need of a high quality early childhood program for your child(ren).

The enclosed playground, proximity to the town library, and gym to play in on rainy days have only enhanced our experience.
