With that said I had two sons go through William Collier. My youngest just promoted from 5th grade and is on to middle school. My 13 year old who is entering the 8th grade went preschool through 5th grade and my 10 year old who just promoted to 6th grade went K through 5th. Both my sons really liked WCE. My experience through the years is the front office we're always kind, helpful and friendly. And all the teachers they had seemed to always care for the students. Maybe I'm being a little sentimental but I'm going to miss having a child attending WCE. Thank you for all the fond memories. So...... IF you're one of those parents who just expect to drop their kids off and their kids get straight A's then maybe a private school is more your thing. But if you're heavily involved in your child's daily life in and outside the classroom then WCE will be more than fine. Thank you for the fond memories WCE!

They have such a caring staff, well developed curriculum and very creative special events and days. Today is Pirate day and my grand child is excited about wearing an eye patch and going to school! She says she will greet everyone with an "aargh" instead of hello! The school campus is on a beautiful piece of land with tons of trees and out door paths. The playgrounds are well shaded and filled with wonderful play structures. We love Anne Sullivan School!

My son has no music class, no field trips, no art class and a PE class that's barely that. For PE the have free time 9 times out of ten. Never once has my kid learned something like a sport or anything athletic. For Art the teacher puts on YouTube! When she has nothing else to do for her second graders she puts on Elmo and Disney. The special needs children have pushed her to the floor. No aids in the classrooms of this size! All this school cares about is there standardized testing! Not how the kids do or what goes on in these classrooms. They are not learning. They are put in front of computers ( but not to be taught computers or coding or anything useful) and told to sit still. And to top it off....Twenty pumps on the swings and you must get off.

Special education Ms.cindys class…read more My son has (Moderate) autism and non verbal (he only knows a few words). He would come home with scratches/scrapes and I was never told how he got them. I would email ms.cindy and the respond was always that she'll ask who ever my son was with that day or she'll say that they don't remember seeing my son fall or anything. She would send my son home with a sweater that wasn't his sometimes, his water bottle went "missing" at school somehow, and when it came to IEP meetings she would schedule, but would forget to cancel or would try and act like I forgot we had an IEP meeting whenever she did. During the meetings she seemed unprepared. I now know never to sign an IEP until it's all in paper because teachers say one thing, but write another thing in the IEP. At the end of the school year she kept suggesting for my son to attend another school. Did I forget to mention she called cps claiming my son had belt marks, hand marks, and bruises on him? He didn't.

It's a small school, so they really got to know the teachers and all the students. The teachers are great - very kind, loving, supportive, and caring. My 3 kids lived in the dormitory while attending CLHS. That was also a very positive experience for them. They enjoyed the dorm supervisors a lot - almost like having an older brother and/or sister for them. 3 sports a year, choir, handbells, worship band, plays.....they were able to do it ALL, which they enjoyed immensely. My 3 kids are now adults - 2 have graduated college and the third is currently in college. They have expressed to me how prepared they felt for college and how confident they felt when starting college. CLHS is definitely a fantastic, God-centered, Bible-based school!

I know this does not do with the school but to the district of Temecula if your kid is not physically showing a disability they are not allowed to ride the bus. Also they just let kids get bullied and they don't do anything about it. In the morning If it's raining outside they are not allowed to go inside they have to stand in the rain till the bell rings and they open the gates then they are allowed to go in. I can go on and on of all the crap this school has put my kids through but I do not have enough characters to do so. Please avoid this school as much as possible. If i could give it 0 stars I would.

Out of the four 2nd grade teachers we became familiar with, she was by far the best. Academically - speaking she is rigorous and does not pass out As easily - one a sign of a good teacher. When my son started to struggle, she contacted us regularly in order to help us help him - maybe a more important sign of a good teacher. He eventually got his grades back up. A final sign of an exceptional teacher is a love for teaching and truly caring about students - which she clearly does. What a great combination - high expectations for academic achievement, good feedback on assignments and exams, and empathy for students. NVES is very lucky to have her!
