Prior to our move, I began researching insurance companies for home owners and auto insurance quotes. Among finding the best coverage at the best rate we were also looking for a "local" agent. Most of my communication with Lisa was via phone or email, as we had not yet made our move from out of state. She told me she was local and she was able to find us good rates on both house and auto. Over the first year, and only year, with her as our agent, occasionally I had a question or two about our coverage (not filing a claim) and I would reach out to her, via call or text, she would respond indicating that she would call or text me at a later time... because she was busy, which I understand because I know we are not her only clients. The last time I reached out to her 3 or 4 times over a two week period, the first couple of times she responded saying that she will call me back later that day or the next day... I never heard from her. I was going to stop be her "local" office only to find out she was located in Las Vegas, NV which is 2.5 hour drive away. So she lied to me saying she was local, meaning she is not a part of our community and her lack of response tells me that she might be to busy or not have time for us. Just prior to our annual renewal with both companies, we had everything transferred over to a LOCAL broker who represents both of our home owners and auto insurance company. In our situation, Lisa not only lied about being local, she was not good at follow up and lacked poor customer service.

Sarah immediately pulled up my quote and reviewed all the coverages with me, even noticing that I had forgotten to include my solar panels. My previous insurance company had nearly doubled my rates, but her quote was already saving me around $400. Then she asked if I had any vehicles insured. Once we went through those details, she managed to save me $2 a month!!! Haha! That might not sound like much, but when she bundled my home and auto policies, it added nearly another $400 in savings. Altogether, I'm saving just under $800 a year simply by making that one call. Shopping for insurance can be stressful, but the State Farm website and Sarah in particular made the process simple, pleasant, and worth it!

From the get-go everyone was awesome, so I had them a couple years never needed them for anything then at the end of October I was involved in an accident to which I was at fault my first accident and 30 some years I was a nervous wreck. I called the insurance company. They had already told my car they had already called enterprise and set up a rental. They had found out that it would take at least three or four days for the adjuster to look at the car so they set the rental up for the four days and if I needed it longer, they set it up for longer. The adjuster called me in two days and said that he was able to see the car already and that I would need to go look for a new car cause they totaled my car. I took the car back to enterprise no charges there. I went and looked for a new car new used., I took care of the paperwork that my adjuster asked for sent the title work in within a week. I had my check for my car. I have mine replacement car purchased, and I was done. It could not have been easier. I never met anyone from American Family, but by the time I was done, I felt like part of a family. Seriously I don't think that there's the cheapest insurance around, but they are the best insurance around and I felt the safest with them and the best service I've ever had from an insurance company so if you're looking for good insurance great coverage great service then I would go for American Family insurance. This is my opinion and everybody has one. I'm very happy with American Family and thank everybody that was involved in my case. Thank you everyone.
