He returned my emails quickly and answered all of my (excessive) questions politely. I showed his work to my mother and immediately we made a decision to book him. His communication throughout the process was fantastic and he helped guide us to the appropriate package for our day given my list of wants and needs. Unfortunately, we were never able to meet up before hand to discuss the big day (my husband and I live outside of Boston and the summer was a busy one for us and we just couldn't make it work.) However, we were able to facetime and immediately felt at ease with Ben and realized that given his sense of humor, and ours, we were in good hands. The day of went off without a hitch and Ben was a big part of the success; he was present but not intrusive (so many of our guests commented about this) and we had an immediate rapport (again, so many of our guests asked us if we were friends with him before the wedding.) Ben was laid back, flexible and kept us at ease by making jokes while at the same time being very professional. The best part -- our final images, they are absolutely stunning and I love them! We highly recommend if you are looking for a laid back photographer who just "gets" weddings, and will document your day in an intimate style that will have you reliving the day every time you look through your photos.

We have loved them since we first met them. To us it was very important that we had two photographers and a digital copy of all of our pictures. They create a package and pricing to what is going to work for you so not everyone is the same nor is the price. They do an engagement session. I wasn't thinking of having one but since they offered it, we took it. It was perfect we had so much fun and were really relaxed. They got to know us before the wedding which is going to reflect in our pictures on our wedding day. We had some odd requests of things that we wanted to try and they were up for anything. We just got to see our sneak peak of our pictures (our wedding was only 3 days ago) and I am so thrilled and cannot wait to see the rest. I recommend them to absolutely anyone and everyone and strongly recommend that you at least talk to them if not book them I know we will be booking Portrait New England in the future (baby bump shots, babies ect)

(I forgot to snap pictures but will add them when the bride posts them) If you're looking for a lovely wedding barn, check them out. Today recorded some of the Sean's highest temperatures and the venue ran out of water .... 10 minutes into opening the bar.... no parking at the venue meant nobody could go to get water but the owner did not see the need to get a load of water for the event... being a caterer myself we have never.... never ran out of anything let alone fluids that are a huge requirement to have on such a hot day. There were pregnant women present at the event and this was just a travesty. Not to mention the gruff attitude some of the staff had upon arrival to this event. Sad it was but those there made the best of it and enjoyed the evening. As a recommendation partnership means ownership if you wanted more than one star then you should have addressed this immediately.
