We circled the shoe area trying to find the one she had in mind. As we were chatting about different options, I looked down and there it was! It was exactly what she described and she was elated. A sales associate approached us to help and placed the request using an iPad. As we waited, he returned a couple times to let us know that they're having a difficult time locating the pair due to inventory moving around because of the sale, but they're working on it. After several more minutes, Kandace was sent to assist us further. She said that the shoe could not be found but offered the option to ship it. Unfortunately, our daughter is moving out of her apartment in a couple days, so this was not ideal. I instead asked for it to be shipped to the store. She didn't hesitate to assist with that. We encountered a couple issues as she was trying to process the transaction. The only solution was for me to place the order myself on the app. She was quite apologetic for the inconvenience, but she was too sweet and helpful to find her at fault. It took me just a few minutes to place the order. We then decided to check-out the sale rack on our way out. The daughter fell in love with a Damson Madder mini dress. It was a perfect fit and 35% off -- I had to buy it. Cidney was the sales associate at the register. She was so much fun to chat with as she handled our transaction. She offered recommendations for other pieces and almost convinced me to purchase a super-cute Free People cardigan. :) Friendly, fantastic service from Nordstrom at the Mall at Green Hills, especially during the weekend at one of their busiest times!

I've walked through Nordstrom a million times, whether I was entering the mall from the adjacent…read moreparking garage or walking laps around Green Hills. I've marveled at the high-class display of exclusive brands, expensive purses and clothing, squeaky clean interior, and charming little restaurant on the bottom floor. This is surely a celebrity destination in Nashville. But I never actually shopped there ... until yesterday. In search of a birthday present for my wife, I perused the clothing on the uppermost of three floors looking for something that would match her style. Under the impression that everything in the store was uber-expensive, I was surprised at the vast range of prices! You could find a $40 skirt on sale, or a designer $1000 jacket, everything from bargains to the pinnacle of fashion! Searching for the right item but (as a typical male) rather clueless about fashion, the most charming young lady named Lindsey emerged and became my personal guide, my guardian angel of fashion. With class, sophistication, and professionalism, this Nordstrom employee offered suggestions, gave expert advice, found additional options for clothes in the back, and truly went overboard to make sure I was happy, comfortable, and enlightened. Because of her, I was able to bring home a truly remarkable outfit for my wife's birthday (which she'll be opening in a few days). Thank you, Nordstrom. And thank you, Lindsey!

I had the most wonderful experience with Tiffany at Bump City. I was in town with my husband for a…read morenight and made an appointment online not knowing what exactly to expect. I was to the point in pregnancy where my regular clothes were no longer fitting but I was having a hard time ordering things online as sizing, styles, and quality can really vary quite a bit. Tiffany was so friendly and immediately made me feel perfectly at ease. She discussed what I was looking for and what my style preferences were. She then pulled out literally everything in the store that I might like so I could try things on and feel the fabrics and never complained about hanging something back up or putting something back in a package and was thrilled for me to try anything she had. She helped me pull together several looks that made me feel confident and beautiful in my new body. I was thrilled to have several go-to looks for upcoming parties and events that were comfortable, stylish, and elegant. Tiffany was also super amazing about making sure she was completely clear about how much everything cost (there aren't price tags on everything since much of her business is mail order) and made sure not only did I love everything I eventually purchased, but that I was in no way pressured to buy anything or felt like there was any lack of clarity about prices or how the total was calculated (even showing me what my online shopping cart would look like and asking if I wanted to make any changes.) Tip: The only issue I had was with finding her location in the first place. I passed it the first time. When you go, look for the Bluebird Cafe and park in the shared parking lot in front of their building. The building Bump City is in is to the left of the Bluebird and the sign for it was hard to see because there are a lot of businesses listed on a small space and the street out front is busy.

I would much rather support a small business like this vs big box stores. The people in here are super friendly and engaged with everyone, even the kids! There's a sweet lady and guy that engages with my son and shows him all their display toys and how they work! We end up buying them too!! The store has very unique toys that you would not be able to find at your typical target. We have been here a few times and will make the drive to support this small business! Everything is just perfect!! Only downfall is I wish I would have known about this place sooner!

The purpose of my visit was to get some items for my infant son. Unfortunately, their selection for infant items are limited, but where they lack in infant toys they make up for every other age demographic. One of the special things I liked about the toy store was the train. It was Halloween themed, and by my understanding, they change the theme as it goes with the seasons or holidays. Either way, my son was mesmerized by watching it go around the track. I know several adults who enjoy building train sets, and this is a place where one can find all that they need for that investment. The store does have books, dolls, and a ton of other items for just about any need one could think of. I feel when our son gets older, this place will be more frequented by us.
