The morning of the session I had also booked hair and makeup through someone she recommended, and their services were great! The session itself was also wonderful. Despite the fact that I had never done something along the lines of boudoir before, Magdalena gave a lot of instruction on how to pose and ensure my facial expressions also conveyed the right tone. She stopped to show me photos along to way so i could see how they were turning out. First of all, Magdalena makes you feel so confident, strong and sexy in front of the camera. Secondly, she gives tips and feedback on how to look your best with posing in front of the camera. I really want to warn women and their money away from this place. I was a recent client that feels…read morea little scammed out of my photos. The shoot was super awkward and felt very routine. There was no discussion on the day of what to expect or what would be happening. (Also the photographer arrived late and then randomly left while I was getting ready and I had been ready for about 20 minutes when she finally returned.) But the worst came after. You aren't given the final price list until after you shoot. When I asked why the cost wasn't presented before I booked (or even before we shot) she stated that she tells the price many times in her Facebook Live videos in a private facebook group. ??? Ultimately, I couldn't afford even the cheapest option, so I ended up with nothing. I paid the session fee, shot, couldn't afford the pictures, so as of now for what I spent...I didn't get a single picture, or even got to see what the final shots looked like. I just want to enable women who are excited to do something like this to know that there are other Chicago studio photographers that can offer this same thing but with more professionalism, friendlier staff, better lighting equipment, better communication before/during/after the shoot, and most of all... for an 8th of the price. If nothing else, I really encourage you to ask for the 'Investment Menu' upfront before booking. That information is not going to be given to you but you deserve to know ahead of time.

We scheduled a shoot for later that month. The shoot was very comfortable and an overall fun experience! Being my first photoshoot, I was instructed on how to pose for the pictures that suited my body type and persona. I was able to see a sneak peek of the photos as we were shooting them.
