My family and I have never done a family photo shoot and we were excited to at least get one photo for a canvas. We had no idea how to pose or what to do. Miguel was the perfect photographer, especially for people who are not experienced in getting their photo taken. We love all of the poses that he suggested. He was so funny and personable which helped capture some really organic smiles and happy moments. We also included our puppy in the photo shoot and he did such a great job capturing our dog and getting her attention as well. Needless to say we've gotten much more than one good photo that we set out for. I would definitely recommend MN photography to all of my family and friends and look forward to booking again in the future. I knew it would be hard to coordinate travel, meetings etc, due to the distance and I was certainly the bride that wanted to meet and get to know her vendors prior to booking them.   On the initial call, both Zainab and Aaqib were very kind and answered all of my questions regarding price, travel, different packages and hours and everything that would be included. I felt very comfortable moving forward with a team I hadn't met, only having seen their work on their website or social media accounts.   I knew I wanted to work with a company that was an expert South Asian weddings. In Pittsburgh, there aren't many (if any) photographers/videographers that focus or know the South Asian wedding traditions and photography was my husband and I's number one priority. Knowing that the Maha team has extensive experience and almost exclusively works on South Asian weddings made us feel even more comfortable in our decision to work with them.   Maha Studios included a free one hour engagement session if my husband and I visited Chicago prior to getting married. That didn't end up happening, BUT they were kind enough to drive to Pittsburgh the day before the wedding weekend and use that one hour to photograph my Mayoon event! They drove to the location, set everything up and took tons of amazing shots and video that were used in my wedding trailer.   Zainab, Aaqib and Raheel (associate videographer) worked with me the entire weekend (and suggested a few timeline changes, etc) to make sure everything went smoothly. I loved that they made time for both me AND my husband to get "getting ready" shots and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera (otherwise I am so awkward!). I asked them to focus on family members and after seeing the final photos and video, I can see that they definitely did.  They blended in and zipped around like crazy the entire weekend, while I was making sure they had food to eat and a comfortable hotel room!   Post wedding: WOW. JUST WOW. My husband and I are blown away by the photos that Zainab took and the trailer and final video that Aaqib and Raheel filmed. The photo quality is amazing, the photo album we received is beautiful, the trailer is perfect and the 3 hour long video has been playing nonstop. Aaqib responded to all of my requests on minor changes to the video on the same day and confirmed the changes were made. The follow up from everyone was incredible and I cannot wait to use Maha Studios again!

My sister in law is still beaming for the quality and professionalism they showed. They were super easy to work with and cam to my brother and sister in law's house for the pictures. They had great chemistry with the babies, especially when my niece got a little fussy (not a fan of tutus yet). They also had some great ideas for positions and angles for the babies. The best part was the photos were ready incredibly fast and as I mentioned before, the quality was phenomenal. They also were fairly priced, but the pictures look like my brother spent a ton of money! We all highly recommend them for future pictures! She can also work fast and quickly capture the moments including photographing my toddler who would not sit still for more than a few seconds. A good photographer is always ready for that split-second moment and thanks to Kammie, we have some great sets of photos for the books. Most of her photos are just perfect as is but her editing skills are even more superb. Kammie knows instinctively what to fix and what to remove and how to make that photo THE photo. So if you can add the option of advanced editing a la carte for couple favorite photos, I would highly recommend it. To date, I have received so many compliments on my photos and we have so many beautiful memories on canvas to customize our homes in a way that no art from a store could ever compare. Not to mention, her photo sessions are the perfect pages for your family heirloom photo books.
