I hired them for my daughters first birthday they said they would be delivering it to my house between the times of 3-7 I did not receive a call about no one showing up until after seven, when I called the office asking where they were the lady said they had all left for the day. Finally received the call she let me know they would be there first thing in the morning. He came blew it up it smelled like mold there were holes in it, and he left me with loads of water to clean up. It was only up for an hour before deflating? I called to speak to someone about getting a refund and they said, they would call and never got back to me. They were super unprofessional, rude, and wasted my money. With a lot of excitement we tried to find a good vendor for our boy's special 5 year old birthday party. He wanted a bouncy house! They came dropped off and picked up for me. On top of the party I had I was able to attend a grand opening for Malawi Pizza today where they hosted all the entertainment. Made a rental 1 month in advance. A week out forecasts were calling for excessive rain (weekend of May 11th), cancelled rental 3 days in advance which I had confirmed over the phone was sufficient notice to not be charged for a late cancellation. Due to a variety of circumstance my event can't/won't be rescheduled. Now I have called twice asking for a refund and can't seem to get a response from the owner who needs to approve this. Will be filing a dispute with my credit card which will be honored due to all the emails and call logs I have kept. This place has been giving me the run around for over a week on my refund. When i placed the order i was never told that there wasn't a refund policy, instead they give you credit. The emailed me the agreement which i never signed. I placed my order 2 days before the event paid it in full and then called back 2hrs later to cancel it due to a leak in our back yard. I was told 3 times that the manager will call me back but he never did, i have sent 2 emails requesting a refund and called over 4 times and no one has the decency to call me back. The renting process on the phone was very smooth. I had a party arranged for Monday from 4-8. They had said on the phone that they might deliver Sunday. On the day of the party my neighbor calls me to let me know they are there picking up the bounce house. I immediately call them to ask what is going on. The girl in the phone is extremely rude saying well we been trying to call you. Call me about what?? The bounce house is paid for the party hasn't even started. Instead of admitting mistake they want to blame me for not having a good number. They also wanted me to give them my neighbors number so she could go tell the driver not to take the bounce house. When I get home the driver had bounce house already loaded I told him what was he doing since the bounce house was reserved from 4-8. Extremely disappointed. This is my 2nd time using Jump and Joy Party Rentals. The first time I had requested a balloon maker for 3 hours and a bounce house for an all day event. The balloon maker is so skilled. He made all the super heroes you can think of and all the kids loved him! This company is super good at responding to any questions and they're always here to help. The kids loved it and they had so much fun that way the parents can mingle.The prices are reasonable and the people there at Jump and Joy Party Rentals do all the work for you as far as setting everything and taking it down. This is one of the few 5 star reviews I've done, so you know someone has gone above my expectations. When it comes to customer service Jump & Joy gets it, let me tell you. I've never dealt with anyone with as much consistent enthusiasm about their product as these people. My initial call was just to get pricing and info. The guy was so patient and willing to answer all of my questions. They're not only great at customer service, their prices are competitive as well. I passed their info to an event planner friend of mine. We ordered chairs for an event we hosted in the sugar land area. The guys were there at the time requested to drop off the chairs. They also returned at her requested time to pick up the chairs. Even the delivery guys were "on top of it" and personable. I appreciate the company for pushing their brand that travels from their offices to the delivery trucks. That really shows the authenticity of the company's values! This Princess dry jump and bounce is deceptive on it's web site. It states that it is a L15' x W 25x18' ft. high. If this is what you are expecting this is not what you will get. What you will get is a bounce rental that is no where near this size, and smells like mildew, is sun-faded. On top of that they bring it out with delivery and set-up included in the price and then ask for a tip. The driver or his helper dropped a pill on my driveway. When he came back and we confronted him with it he said it was a vitamin. ( Really), I have dogs and young grand children. WOW, I'm glad we found it and not one of my family members. read more

Rented a wet slide bounce house with the snow cone machine for my daughter's party and it was a hit. The company placed an emphasis on the multi-step cleaning process that each unit endures after it is used. Another plus, we got 5 tasty flavors that I picked from a long list of choices for the snow cone machine (Tiger's Blood!) we also got to keep the bouncer overnight as a courtesy from the owner. My kids thought it was Christmas morning when they woke up and got to play with it the next day! Blew my phone up while I was at work after I already told them I'd call back the next day after I had the chance to discuss the rental with my husband. THEN my husband asked to speak to a supervisor. Unfortunately, our family had a less than ideal experience with this company. I received an email as well as a message on my Facebook feed advertising bounce houses 50% off for one day only. My son was turning five in a few days, and had previously stated that he wanted a bounce house for his birthday party, and though we couldn't afford a full price rental this year, I figured we could swing the 50% off, so we rented one at the last minute. The code they said to use didn't work, so I sent a message stating that the code wasn't working, and that I would like to rent a 5-in1 bounce house, but couldn't do it without the discount. Chad messaged back with a copy of the invoice showing the discount and said that he would like to bring it over Saturday night, so that we could have it all day Sunday. I messaged back a couple of days later, and asked what time we could expect them to drop it off Saturday, and received a response saying that someone rented it out after the invoice was sent and they would not be able to bring it until Sunday. Not a big deal at all as we didn't originally plan on having it Saturday anyway. He asked what time I would like the unit delivered on Sunday, and I responded 8:00 would be good, but no later than 9 AM. Two days passed with no response, so I figured to expect them between 8 & 9 AM. Sunday arrived and my two kids, ages 5 & 6 woke up excited to see the bounce house. 8 AM came and passed. We called at 8:30, no answer though the website says "always opened". I sent a message through the Facebook page, no response. My husband called again, and this time Chad answered and said they were "in route." This was about 8:45 AM. It was almost 10:30 before they arrived. I'm not sure where they were in route from, but their business is located less than 20 minutes from our home. Fine, they were finally here, the kids were excited, so we were okay with it. When they set it up it was dirty. They sanitized it on our property, but there was still a lot of what looked like hay inside of it afterward. The cleaning should've been done prior to it being delivered. It was advertised as a 5-in-1 (Pirate), but I did not see what the fifth element was. The details include a rock wall ledge climb, but all I saw was a bounce house, stairs leading to the slide, a slide, and a basketball hoop attached to the inside. The unit itself looked dirty all over and worn. The cord they left us with was a double prong cord that looked like it had been partially melted in the past. It got really hot immediately to the point of my husband not feeling safe using it. We ended up putting our own extension cords on it, because we were afraid to use theirs (we called about it prior to doing so). If it were my business, I would've come back to inspect and replace the cord. Despite these issues, my husband tipped 10% of the cost of the rental. Even though things got off to a rocky start, Chad apologized and offered both over the phone and in person to compensate us for the trouble. He volunteered the "next rental on him," before he arrived at our house to "help expedite the set up." When he got here, he assured my husband that he would send an email with a voucher worth a couple of hundred dollars for the issues we had. Fine, great, problem solved. That was Sunday morning. It is Tuesday afternoon, and I have not received anything in my inbox or spam folder. We didn't ask to be compensated, this was offered. If you say you're going to do something then do it. Otherwise, don't bother saying anything at all. On a side note, the invoice that was sent to our email days prior to them coming out had a link to pay the deposit for the rental. When I clicked the payment option I was told that I was being charged a $100.00 deposit, and that's what my payment receipt showed. I got a message from someone a few minutes saying it was paid in full, so I went online to my checking account, and could see that I was charged two separate charges back to back on the same day. Again, not a huge deal as I would have had to pay it eventually anyway, but that should have been specified at the time instead of implying we were only paying the $100 deposit. Overall, I am unimpressed with the service. I understand that we received a deal for half off, but that shouldn't mean half the normal customer service. We have two small children and will likely use a bounce house service twice a year for the next several years. Last year we rented from "A Big Combo Party." They had exceptional customer service. They were prompt, courteous, brought complimentary table and chairs, and delivered a brand new looking bounce house for about the same as what we paid to Jump and Joy with the 50% off coupon. I decided to give Jump and Joy a chance because of the special deal, but I will not be calling them again.  I would have only rented from this company a second time because of the credit promised. We will not be repeat customers. read more

We rented tables and chairs for our open house. The tables were fine.. I am not a fan of the chairs, but it is the standard that places rent. The window for delivery was 3-5 and they got here late. Which I ended up with some of my guys here to meet them so it worked out. Our biggest problem was getting everything picked up! I emailed at 9:28am to tell them instead of picking up after 3, they could come anytime after 2. I called a 2:30 to see when they would be here and I was told 3:30. The owner's of my company sat until almost 5:30 waiting. We went back and forth with phones calls and text messages for hours trying to figure out when someone would show up to pick the stuff up. I told them on my last call at almost 7pm they could pick it up Monday if they could not figure this out. We had someone meet them Saturday after all of the hassle and they were over an hour late. Chad told me they would comp us a completely free order but I will pay twice what they charged to never have to go through that complete chaos again. I was given "snack wrangling", a holiday weekend, etc as excuses on them not showing up. All the while we had 3 employees waiting on go to get our warehouse unlocked! They clearly could not handle their work load that weekend. read more

I rented from Jump and Joy Party Rentals in March of 2018. I placed a order for tables and chairs and was charged and paid. I found out I did need as many tables and chairs as I originally thought. I cancelled the orde with Chad and was never given a credit. I placed a smaller order and was charged and paid for that order. Upon delivery they still had both orders on their slip which I refused to sign. I only signed for what I actually got delivered. I took my delivery slip into the small office on Garson spoke with Chad he stated" You're due a credit I'll have to take the information (which he took a picture of the credit due on hid phone) into the office and get this to you" They have ignored my text, they have ignored my emails, they have ignored my phone calls and of course. Chad has ignored me completely after talking to him personally. I'm getting ready to file a complaint with the BBB and also with the Internal Gernal of Texas.
