I even joked with her, "I'm not going to want to shave my head after this, am I ?". Yes, a joke but not having gone to a professional salon in several years...a joke not a joke? I voiced my concern about the dye soaking into my skin and she doubled down that she used a protectant and had these "aaammaazibg wipes" that would wipe the extra dye off my skin with ease. When she was finished with the application she handed me a wipe and said I could wipe it myself. I kindly declined saying that I didn't wana get dye all over my hands.... When the wipes were clearly just smudging the dye more around my face and my edges started to burn from her rubbing so hard, she stopped service to "let my edges rest" and then conveniently asked me to pay in full 1/2 way through the service. Her fee she made up on the spot... for a root touch up and toner.... $145!!!! ABSOLUTE INSANITY!!!!!! Mind you she couldn't even find her own Venmo name or knew her own WiFi password. ‍ I obliged afraid she would make me walk out with my forehead, sideburns and neck burning and roots full of color. I consider myself the PICKIEST client AROUND & a pain in her A**! I commute hrs sometimes across land & sea, both continental and international to see my hair STYLIST: Colina Lennox. Colinda has proven time and time AGAIN that her PRIORITY is the HEALTH of my HAIR not my HAPPINESS. NEEDLESS to say I've never left her salon un-SATISFIED however for the sake of being real: Do I ALWAYS receive what I ask for? No. The HARD CORE TRUTH being if I had my hair would be a FRIED HOT MESS. Now who would want that? For one; Not I. HOWEVER, Colinda ensures to always PROPERLY INFORM her clients to have CORRECT AND WELL INFORMED EXPECTATIONS prior to starting ANY appointment. I amongst MANY others are a PRIME example of previous STATEMENT. As for stated 24hr cancellation policy. Lets talk about that.
