While the idea is very appealing the challenge for us was working from a distance with vendors and trusting that they will deliver according to our expectations. If you have ever been to a wedding or have had one of your own, you can attest to the fact that the DJ or MC is without a doubt what will make or break the party. A good one will know what to play and when to play it to keep folks entertained and most important "on the dance floor", but doing so for our wedding would not be that simple because my wife and I were raised from two different cultures and styles of music. We knew that finding just the person who could be both flexible and creative would be tricky since we didn't know anyone who could give us a word of mouth referral. So, after hours of scouring review sites we finally narrowed our list down to (one DJ) then booked a flight to Key Biscayne to interview him and some other vendor finalists face to face. However, somewhere between the time that we jumped on our flight and the time that we had scheduled our interview to meet with the DJ, someone else had already booked him for our wedding day. We were in shock as there was no time to find a replacement and we now thought that we would have to roll the dice and hope for the best. Fortunately for us, the DJ who we originally planned to sign with recommended "Jean Marco Bendezu" a.k.a. DJ Mirage of Rhythm Revolvers. He assured us that he would be able to step in and get the job done and WOW!!!! DID HE EVER!!!!!! With less than 24hrs notice and without missing a beat, DJ Mirage of Rhythm Revolvers was nice enough to come out to the hotel where we were staying so we could interview him face to face before we had to catch our flight back home. As soon as we met and interviewed him our confidence was restored and we signed a contract on the spot. COMMUNICATION - In the months leading up to our wedding his communication by email and by phone was excellent! He provided excellent guidance in helping us decide the types of music we wanted for our wedding reception and even provided us with audio samples of his work. In addition to that, he worked very closely with our wedding planner to make sure that all details and flow of our night went according to plan from the blessing, to the toasts, to the cake cutting etc.. EQUIPMENT - He used state of the art DJ equipment and LED Up-lighting that made our reception venue look AMAZING!!! SERVICE - This DJ absolutely "ROCKED THE HOUSE" !! The way he blended one song into the next and genre type into another was simply incredible. He truly set the tone for every part of our reception and it was such a blast to see how people were on the dance floor from the first song to the last. PRICE - We feel that we could not have found a more reasonable and affordable DJ anywhere in FLorida. IN SUMMARY - There are simply not enough words to describe just how happy we were with the effort and planning he put into our wedding reception which resulted in the most amazing outcome that we could have ever hoped for. Now it is under new ownership it seems. I had a party for my mothers birthday and unfortunately, I had to deal with this unorganized and unprofessional team. 1. They refuse to answer their phone, all communication is via text and therefore I was penalized for the lack of clarity because I was not able to communicate with these people effectively. Throughout the time that I had my contract with them, I attempted to make several phone calls, only to receive my response via text, the person said it is because they get a lot of "robocalls" or "scam calls" Not my problem, get a damn business phone. 2. I have been making monthly payments towards the total amount and paid off the balance well before the day of the party. Unfortunately, a few weeks before the party I was reminded to pay off the balance. Ok, no big deal to clarify that it has already been paid off, but this started a pattern of their behavior of being unorganized, unclear and the client, myself having to pay heavily for it. 3. The party was to seat 80 people. Prior to the party, I asked about the table options, round vs long, how many people per table, etc. It was determined that I would need 8-10 long tables. I was also sent 2 pictures of the entrance and asked my preference for set up (all via text). I liked the entrance to be free so people can move about and dance, assuming the tables would be on the other side. The day of the party there were absolutely NO TABLES. When my aunt arrived to set up they told me it would be another $150 to move the furniture around again. This was so confusing to me, not only was I unable to reach these people by phone, they never had my tables set up after we agreed on the long tables then charged me to move the furniture around and set up the tables. 4. The airconditioning does NOT work. 5. This was the very first time I have ever done anything like this so I asked for advice and assistance. One service that was needed was photography/videography. The man that works there said that he can provide this for me for roughly, I believe it was somewhere between 100-300$. Says he has done this before. Now photography does not mean just snapping pictures. When I finally received the pictures that this "photogropher" shot throughout the night, they were of such poor quality that I had to ask my friends and family for their pictures from their cell phones. The pictures were extremely dark. How the hell did he figure these were well done? Although there were numerous pictures, they were so dark and the quality was horrible. I canNOT believe this man told me this is something he could do and provided such crapy pictures. Do not offer services for which you are unable to perform even mildly well. There are dark shadows at the bottom of almost all of the pictures (Probably his hand). 6. Clean up is included in the price. But we had a lot of alcohol left. Instead of just taking the things that we brought, my cousins and other family decided to help tidy a little. Some people have been drinking but by any means were they disorderly. While my friends and family helped to pour some water from the vase and cups down the drain, some of the water spilled on the floor and we did not realize this. It wasn't until I overheard the lady making slick remarks under her breath like this isn't helping us at all, and making fun of my family with her partner that I realized someone accidentally spilled water on the floor near the sink. The did not directly say anything, the behavior continued and the mocked my family for trying to help. The spill was not much because it was easily....EASILY addressed with a mop. 7. Gross behavior, unprofessional, poor communication, misleading, I will never have an event there, attend an event there, or recommend this place to anyone unless it is run by another group of people.

The great thing about my business, is that we have assembled great resources, built incredible relationships, and constantly expand our capabilites and recommended vendors/venues. Even after telling them what I do as a business, this company has proved to be one of the least professional companies I have experienced in many years. Ironically I came to them for my own wedding plans as I actually like a small space called The Cove located at the The Seaquarium. THis is an open space with no amenities, and basically a blank canvas which I considered due to my resources. Outside of being in the industry, I do expect a certain level of attention and want to do business with people who actually provide the customer service that they charge and arm and a leg for. Outside of coming back with cost of the space over $1500 than originally stated, I got no return phone calls for weeks at a time, and when they did it was with the attitude of my boss says no, we cant offer you that any more, and we forgot that we must charge for something else. Dont you know what the costs are as an "exclusive" vendor???? I never received a formal proposal, never met the owner/decision maker to-date who hides behind her help and never had the decency of introducing herself to me (her assistant was actually a nice guy and seemed embarrased over the whole thing), and obviously they have no interest in my event business moving forward which is substantial. Unfortunatley, many great venues are tying themselves up with these"exclusive" vendors that can either make you or break you. Consider this one "broken"! I am concerned the Seaquarium made a big mistake with this choice. My take on this...dont be in the customer service industry if you cant provide professional customer service! What a waste of time!!!!

He even squeezed in a last minute request for Tango for all of our Argentine guests - what a special moment! The Bar was fully stocked! There was no stingy booze service at our wedding! We first saw the Bay Kings Band perform at a wedding in Nov. 2022, and it was then that we knew we…read morewanted a live band to play at our reception when we got married. When we started wedding planning in 2025, we decided to check out the Bay Kings Band at one of their showcases. Billy, the producer, approached us early on in the evening and started getting to know us. After watching them perform that night, we decided to look no further. Billy was our primary point of contact and was incredibly easy to work with. He was quick to respond whenever we reached out and made the planning process easy. He also made a concerted effort to get to know us and our personal music tastes in the months leading up to the wedding. During our final planning call about 2 weeks before the wedding, we went over our must play list, do not play list, and the songs we wanted played during various events (grand entrance, last song, etc.). We'll admit that we presented Billy with several challenges, in that many of our do not plays were songs they probably play all the time at weddings (mostly line dances, Bruno Mars, Single Ladies, etc). We also were not going to have any formal dances, and we had no opinions on what we wanted played during the other events that night. Billy did a great job at talking us through options as well as getting a feel for what our guests might enjoy. On the night of our wedding (4/19/26), Billy and the Bay Kings Band absolutely slayed it. We had so many guests come up to us that night raving about how great the vibes were thanks to the band's energy, set list choices, and each person's talent. The dance floor was packed full the entire night, without a single line dance played. It also helped that they played several numbers from the Shrek and Shrek 2 soundtracks, which we assured Billy previously would go over VERY well with our crowd. They also threw in a few little surprises just for us that made our night all the more special. In addition to being wildly talented, each person from the band we spoke to was incredibly kind and gracious. We absolutely loved each and every member of the band present that night and will be forever grateful for all they did to make our wedding the best night of our lives. Do it. Hire them. You will not regret it. And be sure to include a saxophonist!
