I hung many beautiful pieces in here; one appears in photo 8 on Yelp (on the wall behind the mug). I have never received any income, not a single dollar, from the 10 works I have displayed in here. I have reached out several times to come and get my art, they have never once responded. These are terrible business owners, and terrible human beings who make their living off of stealing from artists.

It is beautifully laid out, mixing yarn and gifts, crammed in wall to wall in the old converted house. Upstairs is the serious yarn stash. Floor to (low attic eaves) ceiling and wall to wall yarn! They have an excellent selection, good prices for the quality of yarn they carry and a helpful, caring staff. We drove through Buena Vista this last weekend and the only reason I didn't fling myself from the vehicle (while Shawn was trying to fly by going twice the speed limit so that maybe if he drove by fast enough I may somehow forget it was there and drag him inside with me for 3 hours of yarn shopping) was because it was closed. If there were 10 stars, this place would get them all and more. If you are ever anywhere near Buena Vista, even if you don't do yarny crafts and you just like beautiful, hand-made gifts, do yourself a favor and stop by. And another update for the yarn I bought there - the brand the lady recommended, Alpaca With a Twist, is now my all-time favorite brand of alpaca yarn (and I even attended the Great Western Alpaca Show last year). It is stuffed full of everything under the sun - collectibles, kitchen items, furniture, second hand tools and appliances and more. It is sort of a hunt to find what you want, but there is some organization to it (but that is the fun of antiquing)! We found nice clamps for our shop and a beautiful large art piece. We enjoyed walking through and will definitely be back! It is the biggest shop of its type in Cañon.

Expect fun, colorful and lovely canvases that are on point for the outdoorsy lifestyle of Aspen! Threads: Great selections of threads. Notions: This is not a notions place. They have some but nothing notable. Service: AWESOME. Love the friendly young lady that has helped me several times. She has a great eye for color and knows her stuff. The aesthetic is on point and everything is carefully curated - love the selection of cards they have, as well as food items and health/beauty/random gifts. Their hours are also nice - we were looking for coffee after skiing all day and was nice they were still open at 4PM to grab a coffee. The staff are friendly and welcoming and are knowledgeable about the coffee they sell. We tried the Iced Nitro coffee, Ice flash coffee, Golden Milk and Santo Palo latte. All the drinks were excellent. We especially liked the Nitro and Flash brewed coffee. The profile was rich, full body and balanced; very refreshing and drinkable. The Nitro was, of course, a bolder, richer flavor of the two. They were some of the best iced coffees I've tasted. The shop offers many varieties of whole bean, single origin and blended coffees from Corvus Rosters; which they will gladly grind for you. They also have lots of specialty food, body products, and gift items for sale along with a vinyl record section. For excellent coffee, friendly service and a nice shop to browse while waiting for your drinks, Howl Mercantile is awesome. They also have a few tables indoors and outside.
