I've stayed with Steve and Emily a couple time now while travelling for work. Each and every time it's been wonderful. They have gone out of their way to make me feel at home - even accommodating my dietary requests. A few times they've even offered me some soup they'd made for dinner, which was very tasty. It can be such a relief to have a home-cooked meal while travelling. They have the sweetest, softest dogs and cat to pet, but my allergies have never acted up, and all the common areas and rooms are spotless. The only drawback is that their wifi is satellite, and so not always the most reliable. I've decided this can actually be a good thing, since it gives me an excuse not to work in the evenings, and instead enjoy their large DVD collection or go for a run along the country roads! But the bottom line is that they have amazing beds, showers, and coffee - the three things that I miss the most while on the road. read more
