I wish I could provide a higher rating than 5 stars for this company! We had a very stressful move out of our home trying to downsize our unnecessary items. We utilized their services 3 times during our cleaning and packing process . Very fast response time. Very reasonable pricing compared to competitors such as 1-800 got junk. Then the shining moment, this company truly went above and beyond for us. We had miscalculated our remaining items to take with us in our vehicle. Ended up accidentally tossing into the junk pile our 2 dog's urns containing their ashes. Along with a couple other sentimental items we did not intend to throw away. We contacted Junk Brothers right away once we discovered what had happened. Kathy in the office realized the importance and urgency to assist in returning our dog's ashes to us. She helped coordinate with her team to find the Urns in the recent pouring rains and mail them back to us asap. I can not express how relieved I am to have them back to us. They advertise a $160. flat rate but it is only for the first visit. They charged me $188. though I didn't know it yet. They took donations only on the first trip. They only had limited time so they had to come back for the actual junk and charged me $420. which is higher than anyone else. They were very nice on the first visit but were surly and crabby on the second. They DID NOT TELL ME OF THE HIGHER PRICE UNTIL AFTER THEY WERE DONE. Had I known, I would've sent them away. The main guy claimed to be deaf but talked way too clearly and too much for that to be true. The office woman called me after they left and accused me of telling the deaf guy to "Shut up" and said I was the was a horrible person and to never call them again. I never said that to him or anyone in my life. My daughter is a sign language interpreter and confimed my suspicions of his so called deafness. You way over pay them while abusing you. STAY AWAY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO OVER PAY AND BE TREATED BADLY. I've had other junk services who did a better job and charged a lot less. That is a total of $608. UNBELIEVABLE!!! read more
