Eric's estimate was prompt, fair, and honest; and better than most. I appreciated the ease of communication (very responsive to messages and questions) and scheduling. Eric and his crew arrived on time, and handled the job professionally and courteously. It can be a little embarrassing to have people come and see the mess you've made! But Eric made me feel comfortable and got a dirty job done quickly (in less than an hour). I got estimates from several other junk removal specialists, but only Super Junk explained how the estimate was calculated and helped me see (before we even scheduled!) that I probably had more Junk than I thought. When I looked for a provider, Super Junk Removal/Pressure Washing responded immediately. The organization also was extremely responsive to my questions using the "Thumbtack chat" feature where I found the provider. On the day of the job, Eric was running a bit late --but he called me much earlier in the day to let me know so I could adjust my schedule slightly to accommodate the time shift (that is a great representation of professionalism). When Eric and his team arrived today, they jumped straight into the removal of my construction debris and moved swiftly. I expected that there would be a few random pieces of debris remaining after the job of which I would have to dispose, but not only did they remove every single item I had requested, they even swept the location to remove small pieces of wood and nails. They were GREAT!! Eric and his team were extremely helpful in not only removing all the junk and trash left behind by tenants but also gave me advice on less expensive ways to do some needed repairs. I thought I needed power washing done outside but Eric said he would determine if it was a necessary expense/ service when the came. It turned out that it was not needed and instead they hosed and scrubbed the patios down for me which was of course a significant savings to me. They were so polite and kind I can not say enough wonderful things about this company. I told him that I had a junk load that I was told by another junk removal service that it was "too heavy" to remove and that it needed a Tom Cat and a dump trunk. Eric asked what items I had, which included a cast iron tub and debris from a bathroom remodel. He said "I have moved plenty of tubs and have many years experience." I found this service through Thumbtack. While it wasn't the cheapest bid, the price was still reasonable, and for all the added convenience and service, I think it was well worth paying a little bit extra. I needed a large amount of garbage to be thrown away, definitely not something you could haul away in a single truckload or two. We had removed it all from the house, but it was all piling up in the rear alleyway. They accept cash, credit, or check. Also, since I had everything outside, I didn't need to be present as they did the job. I just provided them with a phone number, email, and the address where the trash needed to be picked up. They were very responsive and timely with their responses. They sent me a before and after picture, in which they were very thorough with their work. I have to say Eric, superseded my expectations beyond words. I sent it Yelp inquiry late in the evening and I received a quote back immediately. I got a call first thing in the morning by Eric, he said he was in the area and he could come and give me a definite on the price. I'm a yelper regarding reading reviews but not actually giving there was something notable about Eric. I work for a non profit animal hospital and rescue. This past week we were expecting new kennels for our parvo ward and needed the old ones removed so Noone would grab them from the trash and put innocent puppies in which could cause them to get sick. Parvo is a serious disease for unvaccinated puppies and dogs that can kill them. I called Super Junk and received an extremely reasonable quote (even apologized that they couldn't do lower) we set up a time and they came and picked up. They came prepared with spray and proper gear to make sure they didn't spread the disease. They took the kennels away quickly. Eric was absolutely phenomenal - I was out of state and needed to coordinate having some old furniture removed. I messaged around 10am and had a response, price and scheduling for the following morning in less than 30 minutes!!! He met with my boyfriend the next morning and they were prompt, professional and were very careful not to damage anything in the rooms since they had to break apart an old pressboard computer desk to get it out through a narrow hallway. They vacuumed the area and inspected the carpet to ensure there were no stray nails or screws that may have been knocked loose as well. It was necessary to have the side of my yard cleaned up. Years ago we created mounds of dirt and planted trees that grew very large. The time came for us to remove the unhealthy trees and now we were left with mounds of dirt and tree roots. The gravel had also eroded leaving us with an unsightly view. Great experience. We had just move to the area from the East Coast and had tons of boxes and moving material to dispose of.
