It's one thing if an item Is high end, but $10 tank tops, $20 for obviously well worn joggers and sometimes up to $25 for used jackets is just too much. The pricing is similar to what you can get at Walmart for brand new items. The store isn't always the cleanest and the bathroom can be just downright gross. One or the other y'all - a bougie thrift shop with higher prices or a run down thrift shop with great deals and affordable prices.

What irked me is I had to use the bathroom so bad and they purposely closed them due to covid. Every other thrift store has open bathrooms. Its an ok store.

We went downstairs to the church basement and found a hidden honeypot. Ironically one of the volunteers was dressed as Winnie the Poo. When we discovered that most everything was priced at only $1.00, my wife and daughter got excited and got crazy. I emailed Jes with multiple pictures of a storage cabinet and end table - both in very nice condition - and asked, "do you take pieces like this?" Her response was a simple "yes." Based on that confirmation, my husband and I went through the trouble of getting a trailer, loading the items, and even taking time off work to deliver them. However, when we arrived, Jes refused to accept the pieces. When my husband showed her the email where she had said "yes," she claimed that she didn't mean "yes" she would take those exact items. When pressed, she admitted she "probably should have been more clear." This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of our time, effort, and money. To make matters worse, she also complained that our trailer was blocking her alleyway, despite the fact that we were there because of her prior approval, and had pulled the trailer over far enough that cars could get by. Clear communication, respect and accountability are basic expectations in any business, and this experience fell far short. I will never be returning and would caution others to think twice before relying on their process.

I believe that Habitats Restore Store will pick up donated furniture but rightly so, they have criteria for what they accept and I wasn't sure what things of mine could be donated to them and what needed to be junked. I got the name of Junk Pros from the Restore Store and I was so impressed with Junk Pros service. They took away my old furniture, brought it to the Habitat for Humanity Restore Store to see what they would take as a donation and the rest they hauled away for junk. Their price was super reasonable. I was so impressed with Ben and his company, Junk Pros.
