I LOVE THRIFTING. Like top 10 things I am always down for. I am just torn when it comes to Savers... the selection is always pretty good, and you can find major name brands there. My only major complaint is the pricing. For inventory that for the most part is given to them, they ask some pretty steep prices. It's one thing if an item Is high end, but $10 tank tops, $20 for obviously well worn joggers and sometimes up to $25 for used jackets is just too much. The pricing is similar to what you can get at Walmart for brand new items. The store isn't always the cleanest and the bathroom can be just downright gross. One or the other y'all - a bougie thrift shop with higher prices or a run down thrift shop with great deals and affordable prices. read more

Great prices, Great finds, kind service! I really enjoy coming to this location as I always find something to take home! It's a pretty nice and large thrift store at this location. There is a range of items from home goods such as paintings, dolls, cookware, dish ware and linens. There's clothes for everyone for every season - even workwear of course. Furniture and accessories! So far I've had an okay experience with this savers. I'm not from the area and I only make stops when I'm heading from La Crosse to Minneapolis. Every time I go I either leave with something or regret not leaving with something so option-wise they've got some good selections. I'm a little confused about how they price some of the items though. As an example, there were two pairs of jeans of the same quality and similar brands but one was priced way higher than the other. Pricing seems a little inconsistent and a bit out-of-touch in my opinion sometimes so watch out for that. read more

store has nice items but when checking out (finishing up bagging items) the white older lady working in the door stood shoulder to shoulder with me and said nothing. She then rudely asked was I going to pay for the bags or carry the items out in my hands in a rude manner.To which I looked and her and said I don't mind paying for bags(I was folding the clothes in to the bags while she was standing there. She then began punching everything in on the screen as if I was unable to do it myself. Only when it made it to the payment screen and she chose the card option for me did she walk away. I love this Savers. Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why? Because it's in Rochester. And because in Rochester, the hipster ratio is down in numbers which means I can still buy all my grandma clothes and funky shit because it isn't completely overpicked like the locations in the metro area. It's usually fairly chaotic and messy, but that is ok, I like it that way. Staff are helpful, but hardly present, which is fine. I like digging on my own without help or nuissance from staff. wow--what a difference a few years make! I was in Rochester yesterday and had some time to kill so i decided to see what treasures may be lurking inside Savers. Parking is a nightmare and people are animals. They just have kids running everywhere so be careful when trying to drive or park there. Entering the store---the doors are all damaged and the red paint is all flaking off-looks awful --and a man leaving the store have no chivalry and tried to buffalo his way thru me! Inside the store-everything is dirty, overpriced, and unorganized. A fellow shopper decided to stand right behind me and sneeze right on my shoulder--i just could not wait to get out of there and go take a shower--will not return! read more

The store is very well organized and easy to navigate. They have a great selection. It may take some digging, but I usually end up having some great finds. The only complaint I have is the prices can be a little too high. read more

First time in a Savers and I have to say it was really clean and organized inside! The racks were full of variety and styles for everyone! There were lots of north Face, Vera Bradley and nike on the racks for extremely cheap! The staff wasn't great and the checkout line was LONG! But I got some cute tops! I struck the jackpot on their 50% off CD sale!! I got Op Ivy, Rancid, SKEE-LO(!!!!!), and a few others for 75¢ sale! While I may sound stoked about this store, it's more on the sale. The store is middle-run thrift. I wouldn't rush here everytime I'm in town, just if I had time. read more

I decided to wash them before wearing them and they turned out to be to small so I went back to exchange them 5 days after buying them and they told me no cause I cut the tag off but I could just do donate them and buy different pants read more

Tons of stuff but be warned you can't return much even with a receipt. Good place to get kids toys, they have a ton. We come here for Halloween costumes, we can always put something together from all the clothes. If you need dishes or glassware they have a lot of that too. read more

I can get over the smells and screaming kids running all over the place, but over the past few years, I have seen their prices skyrocket. Hey Savers....newsflash....you can still get brand new t-shirts at Walmart for $2.00. You can buy a picture frame that is new and in perfect shape at Kohl's or Penny's for $5.00. And those crappy made in China knick-knacks and bowls that you believe must have some type of collector's value DON'T have value. They are pieces of garbage that I wouldn't sell at a garage sale for more than 25 cents- certainly not $7.99. The ONLY bargain that one might find at Savers is a piece of furniture if you can find one that is not all scratched up, having funky smells, or pee stains. Also, when I donated several boxed of GOOD stuff (some new with tags) I watched one of the workers put it in their large GARBAGE bin rather than their collection bins or take it inside. When I said something he said "Oh, I meant to put it inside." Really? Had I not said something, my donation would have been either thrown away or set aside for the workers to sift through and take home for themselves. I can't wait for Salvation Army to open again in Rochester. Do yourself a favor, shop around for new stuff before going to Savers. At Savers all you will find is smelly junk that is way overpriced. read more

Compared to most other Savers in Minnesota and North Dakota this is probably the highest priced one of them all. I've mentioned this a few times to the store manager but then prices seem to go a bit higher a few weeks later. Selection is slightly above average at this Savers compared to the other ones. read more

BEWARE. YOU WILL NEVER GET YOUR MONEY BACK. (only exchanges allowed) STAFF= POOR. I asked when I purchased an item, about their return policy. I was told, yes, that I could return something within so many days, with the tag still on. So I did. Only NOW I am told I cannot RETURN it, but only EXCHANGE it. There is a difference. In the return you get your money back, in an exchange, you never see your money again. This fact alone has made me think twice about shopping here. I get that they are doing a service for others. I have found some nice things here. But to mislead customers into thinking a purchase can be refunded for money when it cannot is not right. THEY SHOULD TELL CUSTOMERS AS YOU WALK IN- NO REFUNDS-EXCHANGES ONLY!! Once they have your money, they have your money. No exceptions. read more

I dropped off some items, and the person collecting them put my 2 boxes and 1 large bag of clothing and household items in one of 3 overflowing big bins sitting outside their collection door. I specifically stated the boxed items were antique glass. The employee placed them precariously on the tippy top of one of the over stuffed bins. Around 2 hours later it rained. Hard. Fast forward to the next morning - the 3 bins were still sitting outside. read more
