So I was moving out, and had collected a bit of stuff that needed to just....go away. So I called Junk Geni. The first mistake I made was screwing up my schedule. Will worked with me to get a new spot the same week. My second mistake was completely misjudging the amount of junk I had, instead of one load, it turned into two full loads of junk to be disposed of. Will....No problem! When they arrived, my side yard looked like a landfill. They loaded everything and even used a shovel to get every bit of small trash from that pile and left the place looking like it was never there. The price was reasonable and it was such a relief to get the stuff gone so my house could be ready to show for sale. If you've got stuff you need to just....go away....and you live someplace close to Tracy, I'd give Junk Geni a call. read more

Couldn't be better. I was in the middle of a pretty stressful move (crazy soon-to-be-ex-husband drama) and was down to the last stuff and had this pile of junk that I needed to get rid of. I called Will and he came right out, looked at the stuff and even though it was much smaller than he normally deals with, he took care of it for me. It was the last day for me to get stuff out of the house but I had to be somewhere else so I paid Will and he left to go get his truck to haul the stuff away. I then left my garage door open so that he could get to the stuff and took off for my next appointment and planned to come back later that day to close up the garage (presumably after he had hauled the stuff off). All of this on faith - because I had already paid him cash - and it could have been a bad deal but, I came back hours later and he had hauled it all away and left the garage spic and span. And, he even closed the garage door for me. I would recommend him for any junk hauling needs that you have and would use him again in a heartbeat. A great guy. read more

We used Yelp to guide us with selecting a junk removal service. Found Junk Geni and we must say that all the reviews were spot on. We own a rental property which the tenant just left a complete mess. Articles left in the house, piled up high in the 3 car garage, and clutter all around the sides and back of the house. Just a lot of junk. Will arrived and we did a walkthrough of the premises and then presented us with a preprinted pricing sheet. He had explained that he did this to ensure us that the prices he has are fixed based on the volume and weight of junk to be removed. He had also explained that his quote is an all-inclusive price. Nothing will be added to it upon completion of job as detailed in the agreement. If the job took longer and proved more laborious than he estimated, he would absorb the cost. On the flip side, he stated that if he completed the job in less time than estimated, the price is still the same. The job was completed successfully and the entire house, both inside and out, was cleared of all the junk just as detailed in the agreement. We couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Will's services and Junk Geni. Hopefully, the next tenant won't leave the premises in such disarray. If so, we wouldn't hesitate to call upon Junk Geni again. Junk Geni is the best!!! Very professional and funny. Will is very honest and hardworking. He did a great job of providing me a quote without seeing the items I had to have hauled away. He arrived the next day and saw the huge items I needed taken away. I did a bad job of describing the size of the items and they weighed more than he thought. He had to increase the price but IT WAS MY FAULT! we settled on a new price and he went to work on smashing up the items so they fit in his truck. Junk Geni rocks! I had a pickup truck full of all kinds of nasty stuff from broken chain link fence and cinder blocks to old rotten wood to recycling and other misc stuff. I called Junk Geni and talked with Will the owner. I asked him for a ballpark figure to clear the stuff out. He was fantastic, gave me a bid but said he'd have to look to be sure and said he could be over in 2 hours, and 2 hours later he was here! He took a look at the stuff and gave me the low end of his phone quote. Will showed up with a mega-truck. I asked if he needed my help to load the truck and he said he would handle everything. He load, and then swept everything up, leaving my place so much cleaner that before. He's a real hard worker, but with a sense of humor. I've forgotten to review until someone recently asked on FB for a recommendation, but I had an awesome experience with Junk Geni in May, 2017. My husband had been creating his own small junkyard in a small area of our yard, and it needed to GO. I texted pics to them & received a quote with a $40 range difference. When they came to do job, there were some tires & heavy pieces hidden so it did come out on high end (but not OVER), but I was happy because service was awesome. They found a litter of kittens that caused them to be extremely careful for remainder of job. So I gave him a call and he agreed to drive over to Modesto the following day and give me a price on a pool shed I had torn down. Will wears many different hats I found out! Not only does he do clean-ups but he also builds things out of wood! I had a photo of a desk I wanted in my computer room. Will responded to my advertisement for someone who could build the desk for me. He came out to the house, looked at the lumber I collected, looked at my drawings, took some measurements and began his work. He emailed pictures as he went along, until the very end where he wanted to surprise us. I was AMAZED when he brought it in and assembled it! The desk is over 9' long! It is absolutely beautiful and I use it every day. We have both computers on it, both printers, and lots of papers. It is as sturdy as a rock, a definite hand-me-down piece for my sons. Will from Junk Geni was awesome. Very efficient, professional, honest and friendly! He recently removed and hauled away our old hot tub. He had given me an initial quote which he estimated from pictures I had text him, he said he could confirm more accurate quote upon arrival and reviewing the actual conditions. He ended up giving a price range and actually ended up giving me the lower price once he completed the job because he said it was much easier than he anticipated. We appreciated this very much as he didn't have to do that. Will was also nice enough to take a few extra items we had laying around for a bit extra. He certainly did not disappoint and I would definitely call him again if I needed to! I called to ask if he could help out with an odd job (making a box truck safe for transport to the junk yard). I was able to text him pictures of what he had to deal with and he was immediately able to come up with a quote. Will and his guy came out to the house a few days later (on-time, as scheduled) and got the job done in less time that I had expected.
