While the AGC representative was loading I voluntarily assisted with the work. At the point that we were approximately 3/4 of the way to completion the AGC representative stopped. He insisted that there was no way to have known that there was so much more wood under the pile. He insisted further that he would have to charge me more in order to continue. He claimed that negotiations can happen at anytime during his working process. I argued that it was unethical and that he was attempting to extort more money out me. Further, during the loading I offered to repair his trailers flat tire for a discount which he happily agreed to. He explained that he found it hard to find the time and would really appreciate it. That being done, it sailed off with him upon departure. in the end, AGC refused to complete the job as agreed and dumped the load in the grass and left. His competitor arrived within an hour and hauled everything for a fraction of the price. Be for warned; AGC Junk is over valuing his services, is manipulative, and grossly unprofessional. I cautioned him about negative reviews and his affiliation with the BBB but he stated he could care less. If you'd prefer to pay twice the going rate for a minimum of effort this is the Company for you!

They were the first to respond and the only one that actually came out to give an estimate! Right off the bat, we could tell they knew their stuff. As he told us he would do everything he could to make sure the driveway was not damaged during the project. Their price was incredibly reasonable and was over $2,000 less than I was expecting to pay at minimum. Once I agreed to the estimate, the wait began, as they had quite a backlog, but every few weeks I was able to email their office and Liz was always very quick to respond to give me updated estimates and help me feel reassured about any timeline adjustments that weather might have caused. They were WELL worth the months of waiting. They came in and knocked out the project in 2 days and went above and beyond to not only make sure that newly cleared area wasn't just a pile a mud but prepped and seeded it for grass and did so every single place they disrupted the yard. Cleaned up every step of the way and left as if they were never even there. Bubba handled the excavator with such ease and grace it was a joy to watch how gentle he could make demolition seem! His team worked together great and they were incredibly polite anytime you spoke to them. HIGHLY recommend if you ever need any demolition projects. Plan ahead if you are in a time crunch as they are, understandably, busy but they are worth the wait!
