Yea, the reviews here are real and true. Fantastic. Chose them over others in the area on a hunch based completely on the way we were treated over the phone: incredibly kind and attentive. They not only showed up on time, they were early (not before calling us to ask), and they finished what they were doing in such a timely fashion that it was absurdly professional. But the kicker is they are kind to boot; not just because it's their business. Just because they are good people. They have been in business for just a couple of years, and I have no doubt they will be successful. A bit about our job: We just finished cleaning out our parents' garage. Dad was an incredible pack rat. It took us 11 hours to complete our task and there was a ton of stuff left over that we put outside our fence for a junk removal place to take care of. It all fit into a 13 cubic yard hauler (think 13 washing machines). They hauled everything away in like an hour or so. Two guys (and a chihuahua named Oreo). Highly, highly recommend. A few weeks ago I had Junk It Plus remove about 10 cubic yards of debris including tiles, subfloor and flooring planks among other things. Our roofer contracted with this company to provide a dumpster for debris associated with the project. The delivery driver did a great job, managing to back up our narrow and somewhat winding driveway without mishap. The driver who came to pick the dumpster up the following week, however, arrived unannounced long after dark on Friday night and left a trail of destruction behind when he departed. He managed to drive far enough into the yard to break several sprinkler heads and to badly crack the cement in at least two places. In addition, he crashed into a retaining wall of landscaping timbers, dislodging them and breaking an oil drain valve off of his truck in the process; this left a trail of motor oil all over the driveway. Finally drove over the box containing the water meters for our home and that of our neighbors, destroying both of them. Several neighbors were outside and the time and yelled for the driver to stop. He did so, but only briefly, then left without notifying us of the accident(s) or waiting for the police. The city of Apopka sent a repair crew out immediately and the meters were repaired shortly before midnight and our water service restored. The dispatcher at Junk It Plus, however, apparently did not feel that the incident we reported to her merited passing on to management. As of this writing (Sunday morning) nobody from the company has contacted us. To add insult to injury, the driver failed to clean up the debris that spilled from the dumpster during the loading process and subsequent accident or that which remained on the driveway beneath the dumpster. We got roofing nails in several tires. To sum up, while the company provided a nice yellow dumpster that held all of the construction debris our project produced, our experience with them was disappointing, destructive, and expensive. read more
