When they showed up, they jacked up the price by almost 37% because "the price quoted wasn't for New York". The price was also 15% more than the "max" price. They had the address, and it was a couple miles from their business address so they obviously knew what state the pickup was in. I thought they'd done a really good job, even tipped then. I will NOT call them again. 'Broom clean' is a joke, I'm still sweeping. The counter and sink are a mess. I changed the date a couple of times after the initial quote and also donated some of my junk. The call center and Tom were extremely understanding and flexible in adjusting both pick-up time and quote. We are a non-profit so we are constantly pinching pennies and Tom worked with us. What an excellent experience. I had brick on my front stairs that was falling off and creating a dangerous situation. I removed the brick myself but had no way to get rid of it all. I called Junk King. They booked the appointment and even arrived early (with a phone call to get my approval no less). Three gentlemen took care of the removal and even went the extra mile to remove some of the small debris left over. The finishing touch - they swept any remaining dust and debris off the stairs so that it was completely clean. I was surprised they did not have the proper equipment needed to do the job - so I loaned them my wheelbarrow.
