The job was booked with a two hour window starting at 2:00 pm today. At 2:21 pm, got a call from the truck saying they'd be here in 10 minutes. Then, 10 minutes later, they were here. The job was to remove a Tempur-Pedic Mattress (weigh 150 lbs) and the two box springs that supported it. Art and Joseph were both excellent! Fast, courteous, and careful. Because of illness in the house, both put on face masks and shoe covers on their way in. This company doesn't show up when you schedule. They give a two hour window for them to arrive, and they don't show up nor call you if there is an issue. They also don't answer their phones when you call them to get any answers. It's 800 number which is strange. I ended up having to get a uhaul and do it myself. read more

Saturday arrives and I get a call from the guys at 9.30am, asking if I want to keep my appointed time or they could come earlier. The 2 gentlemen arrived and got to work estimating the cost based on volume etc. We were VERY impressed by how professional and nice these guys were. This past weekend, I helped my cousins clean out one of their rental properties in Salinas. We were amazed that Mario of Junk King came out on such a last minute service call to remove two truckloads of collected trash and landscape debris. $585 Service Call - Onsite pick up (see my picture of the actual truck). - Includes two guys that will enter the property to pick up, fill the truck, and haul it away. - Courteous guys and very cool (they had fun stories to share). - They were done with the first load in three hours. Two hours for the second load. - Pay cash and don't forget the tip the guys! - They do not pick up oil, chemicals, car batteries, and anything hazardous. - Ask for Mario Guzman. Scheduled for yesterday. No call or knock at door. Called at 440. They say they are on the way and will call. No call. I call back around 510 and they say everyone went home for the day. Rescheduled for the next day and requested a call prior to make it a no contact pick up so everything can be outside in time for them. Again, no call prior to arrival. Get a knock on the door and it's them so now they had to wait at my door while I dragged the mattress out. Was also told I wouldn't have to sign anything. Was required to sign for pick up. All of that is the opposite of no contact pick up. Two stars because I'm so happy the mattress is finally gone. read more
