Usually people do not say that they had a great time at the dentist, but I had a blast. The staff....each and every one of them were just very down-to-earth and kind. Not a frown in the office. I only waited for about 10 mins after checking in. The lobby was immaculate and smelled wonderful. Oh, what I loved too was that you park and the door is right there. No hunting for the location and wandering around like a mad person in this heat. It was very easy to get to. So anyway.... I was taken back to the room, which was not closed off yet private enough that I did not feel the whole office was looking in my mouth. His assistant (Orianna...I remember the Anna part..sorry girl) asked me what brought me in and I explained all of my concerns. She made me feel comfortable with being really honest with her about my issues. She took x-rays and was super conversational in the process which continued to help calm my jitters. The doctor came in and ran a thorough review of my mouth and my x-rays. All I know is, the last dentist I visited was not as detailed with a game plan on how to get me back to 100%. He broke everything down in layman's terms. I was able to understand the what and the why to get us to a final outcome that we both would be happy with. I appreciate how willing they were to take the time to explain everything to me. I left with no unanswered questions and future appointments have been booked. I was surprised when the dentist recommend a "deep cleaning" but agreed until I learned that my insurance does not cover a deep cleaning and I would need to pay $460 out of pocket. I declined and requested that I simply have a regular cleaning. I was told "We will not provide you with a regular cleaning because we recommend a deep cleaning". Are you joking? You won't clean my teeth because it is a covered benefit under my insurance but you will provide a "deep cleaning" if I pay out of pocket. NO thank you!!!!! this is not the practice for me. Please be aware of these unethical practitioners. I have worked in healthcare for 30 years and never experienced such scrupulously behavior.
