Definitely a cute area in the air conditioning to hang out and check out all things dinosaur. I did the Dino-photo to see what I would look like and it is a big LOL. Some of the things are outdated but so is the original Jurassic Park movie. There's a little game show area for kids, it's an underrated area the entire Discovery Center.

The Jurassic Park Discovery opened on May 28, 1999. It is located in the Jurassic Park section of Islands of Adventure. In the air conditioned Discovery Center you can shop, learn about dinosaurs, grab a bite to eat, sit and relax, and most importantly it has a bathroom on the second floor. The Discovery Center is right next to the brand new VelociCoaster which always has a long wait so do yourself a favor and come here before getting on that line. During Covid, the Discovery Center was closed except for a first floor lounge open to annual pass holders. It is great to see it open and back in full swing. I love the spiral staircase so reminiscent of the one in the first movie's visitor's center where the T-Rex fight the velociraptors at the end allowing everyone to escape. The staircase is the perfect place to snap a picture. We actually ended up stopping by here a couple of times during the day for the restroom or just as place to rest while we plotted our next ride. I wish the snack bar was open later but I guess the park has to close eventually.

Jurassic Park Discovery Center is located at Universal's Islands of Adventure inside the Jurassic themed area. It's near the King Kong ride. There are two different levels to the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. The first level has a gift shop and includes some interesting activities. It also has a food court if you're hungry. The second level has dinosaur themed sculptures and really mimics the inside of the Jurassic Park Discovery Center from the movie. It's a great spot to rest and relax, especially if you're visiting during the summer. My daughter ended up selecting the Jurassic Park Dinosaur Snapper. She is able to grab and pick up items with it. There are a lot of fun areas to explore inside the Jurassic Park Discovery Center. If you're in the area, you should check it out!

Unearth the mysteries of the prehistoric past in the Discovery Center, a hands-on interactive activity center that combines entertainment with education in informative exhibits in the Jurassic Park section of Universal's Islands of Adventure. I personally didn't spend a ton of time here but it was a fun space to see dinosaurs as well as get out of the sun. The Discovery Center is listed as a Kid's activity so if you have kids they will more than likely love this spot especially if they love dinosaurs. Lots of fun to be had here and if I came back to Islands of Adventure I can see myself coming back to the Discovery Center.

I love the Jurassic Park or now, Jurassic World Discovery Center. I'm not a kid and I don't have kids, but it's always nostalgic to go in there and mess around with the little things they have. Jurassic Park was my all-time favorite movie when I was a kid. I was obsessed with velociraptors.

Very cool place to rest, relax, and entertain yourself away from the thrilling rides within Adventure Island. This place tries to replicate the movies and has you doing various activities. There's dinosaur animatronics that move around and an egg scanning activity. It's a good place to cool down or to get out of the rain. Good place to take pictures and a food court inside. This place definitely isn't an "exciting ride" and more purposed for educating. Still a cool place to check out if you have some spare time.

    Welcome to Jurassic Park.

The Dino's are awesome! Can't wait for the new roller coaster that's coming! This is a great place to get out of the rain too.

They have so many of the iconic outfits & props worn and used in the movie and it's pretty cool. Lots of souvenirs here to look around at. Honestly, I don't love all the branding they did for this movie and I feel like a lot of the clothes are almost ugly or just not that great. Sorry to say that- but there are a few things here and there that are neat collectibles. If you or someone you know is a fan of Wicked this is definitely a store you'll want to check out.

You can't miss it as you'll see the entrance to the exhibit as soon as you walk inside the theme park! If you're a fan of Wicked, you should spend some time to go through the exhibit! You'll get to step inside the world of Oz. There are film costumes and prop replicas throughout the exhibit! You'll also have opportunities to do photo ops within the exhibit too! I had a chance to see Glinda's Bubble Pink Dress! There are exclusive themed merchandise on sale here too! Some of the apparel include Glinda and Elphaba themed costumes from the movies. There are also artwork and accessories on sale too! If you're looking for some desserts, the Wicked Experience has that covered too! There is a small area outside of Wicked called Emerald City Eats. The shop services savory treats as well as some non-alcoholic drinks! I don't get to visit Universal Studios often, but this was a fun exhibit to walk through! There wasn't too many people inside either when my mom and I stopped by towards the end of park closing.
