Universal Epic is epic to me. I have retired from theme park rides, but my kids and grandkids have not. My family wanted to come here, and I was the money man. Ordered their picture package. Don't do this. It's not like Disney; you have to find a photographer, and if they are not too busy, they may take your picture. Then scan your ticket at the front gate to get the pictures. Sadly, we are located in the Helios at the back of the park. The scan must be before 9pm.

This was my first visit at Universal Epic Universe and it was a bit overwhelming in a good way. We arrived on a non-peak day which was great since we did not wait in long lines for any rides and were able to seek shelter from the hot sunny day. The universes are very different each in their own unique way but my favorite was Super Nintendo World, had an old school classic, Donkey Kong ride was which fun. This world is very colorful and pleasing to the eyes and senses. By far my favorite ride was Stardust Racers, this is a massive dueling multi-launch steel roller coaster located in the Celestial Park world. I wasn't aware of what was in store when riding this coaster until I did and boy was in for a huge surprise with 62 mph speeds and 133 feet drops. The other world I was not prepared for was the Dark Universe, which I had no expectations for, and wasn't even aware it existed, thought there were 4 worlds, then come to realize it was 5 worlds. Loved the classic horror film characters like the werewolf, frankenstein experience and the rest. My overall take on this massive park was great although there were other areas not related to the rides or park overall that need some help.

I was fortunate to visit this park while chaperoning a field trip, as the daily ticket prices are quite high. Based on my experience, there are still some issues that need to be addressed before the cost truly reflects the value of the park. Pros: *The size of the park shows promise of evolution *Great food and drink options *Mobile/online food ordering *Locker size *A+ costuming of cast members *Awesome theming and staging in each realm *Water refill stations (especially the ones sprinkled amongst the outdoor lines) *Phenomenal customer service from staff Cons: *Extensive wait times *Limited number of rides *High ride closures or delays As a first visit and it to be a 'working' one, I look forward to returning to the park again.

As the name suggests, Epic Universe is pretty epic! I've never been to a theme park that felt this visually impressive. The theming across all the different lands is beautiful and clearly very well thought out, from the food to the rides to the overall atmosphere. Each area feels totally distinct, with tons of little details to take in. Even the portal-style entrances to each land are really fun and added to the experience. Not sure if we just got lucky, but lines weren't bad at all on our visit. We were able to get on a lot of rides in around 20 minutes. My only real complaint is that I wish each land had a few more rides, since most only have a handful of attractions. That said, the rides themselves were really fun! We especially loved Stardust Racers and Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment! Overall, I'm really glad we went and would definitely love to come back again.

Universal Epic Universe was a lot of fun! The park is extremely detailed and well maintained. You must have the Universal Florida App to access the park map, they DO NOT offer any printed maps in the park. We opted out of the Express Pass due to the overall cost of it, but it didn't take away from the experience. We planned our park visit based on wait times. We road everything we wanted to! I would say it is a little expensive for food and beverages throughout the park as well. The entire park is interactive but you must purchase a wand or bracelet to play the interactive games. I wish there was a few more "free" entertainment options like there are at other theme parks. Overall fun day but get ready to pay for it!! Xo- BB

We went to Epic Universal for the first time, and overall, we had a good day, but it was pricey. We arrived around lunchtime, and while the park ticket itself was already $170 per person, the only fast pass option was an extra $300 each and it only lets you skip each ride once. That was a bummer, especially since we were hoping for more flexible options. We did get on all the rides, though, since we went on a Monday when it wasn't as packed. We spent about 8 hours there. We considered VIP because it was almost the same price as the express pass, but when we asked again, it wasn't available. Of course, food and drinks were expensive too, and parking was another $35. Honestly, while we enjoyed it, I think Epic Universal is more geared toward younger kids. There was really only one big roller coaster, and we were hoping for more thrills. I've got to say, the immersive rides were actually awesome. They're so well done that half the time I couldn't even tell what was real or not, super advanced motion and effects. I definitely appreciated that! And hands down, my favorite world was the Harry Potter one. it's so detailed and just super cool to walk through. I'd definitely be open to going again, but next time I'd just go right at opening. That way, you could knock out all the rides without needing to buy those expensive fast passes.

This How Epic Universe should look

Epic Universe is a beautiful park with impressive technology and incredible theming, but overall it feels smaller than I expected. While each land looks amazing, I found myself feeling like the biggest highlight by far was Super Nintendo World. Walking through the Warp Pipe into the Mushroom Kingdom is unforgettable. The music, colors, Mario Kart, Yoshi's Adventure, and Donkey Kong Country make it feel like you've stepped inside a real Nintendo game. My biggest disappointment is that Nintendo didn't get the entire park. Imagine if Epic Universe had been built completely around Nintendo with multiple themed worlds: Mushroom Kingdom - Mario, Peach's Castle, Mario Kart, Toad Town, and Rainbow Road. Yoshi's Island - A colorful family land filled with dinosaurs, adventure trails, and unique rides. Donkey Kong Country - A huge jungle packed with temples, waterfalls, mine carts, and thrilling attractions. Bowser's Kingdom - A massive volcanic world with Bowser's Castle, lava-filled rides, and epic battles. Luigi's Mansion - A haunted land with ghosts, puzzles, special effects, and a state-of-the-art dark ride. Nintendo has enough characters and games to fill an entire theme park. Instead, it only occupies one section of Epic Universe. For me, the park itself feels a bit small, and outside of Nintendo there wasn't another land that left the same lasting impression. Super Nintendo World is what makes Epic Universe worth visiting, and I honestly believe Universal missed an opportunity by not making the entire park a Nintendo park. Epic Universe is still a great park, but Super Nintendo World completely steals the show. If Universal ever expands Nintendo into multiple worlds--including Yoshi's Island, Bowser's Kingdom, Luigi's Mansion, Zelda, Pokémon, Kirby, and Metroid--it could become the greatest video game theme park ever created

We had a great time and great set up of the different theme sections with the carousel in the middle of the park. I appreciate the cooling stations but it would be nice to have more coverage for long lines and rain. It rained periodically and was hot and humid most of the time for the summer.

1st time here on an overcast day. Hooray!

People near and far have been pumped for this park. It's been a year since it opened and it seems pretty well-established by now. I visited on a Saturday, arriving after 11 a.m. Parking and walking to the entrance was a smooth process, no long lines to get in. It was an overcast day, which mitigated direct sunlight but the humidity is inescapable. Wish I had prepared better. A cooling towel or wearable fan is highly recommended. The park sells them, but no way would I pay their prices. The various themed areas of the park are very impressive. Unique portals transport you to highly detailed worlds that immerse you in an altered reality. One of the highlights for me was exploring the Ministry of Magic. Breathtaking! There's a separate way in for non-riders, which was nice. Stardust Racers is their most thrilling ride. Also always the shortest wait during my visit, so we kept going. Didn't get to ride everything. Longest we waited was around an hour and 45 minutes for Donkey Kong and Mario Cart. For the most part, decent cooling devices are present while waiting in lines. It did help. I enjoyed all the food I tried. Staff was pleasant. Effusive farewells as we exited the park. My main issue is that some areas feel cramped. Too many bodies in a condensed space. In certain locales we had trouble finding available seating. Rides did get delayed occasionally, but nothing excessive.

Hands down one of the best spots to visit with great company when in Orlando! The overall atmosphere, the rides ‍ How to train a dragon was a winner for my kiddos n I! Super Mario is fun! (Just over packed when we came!) If never been here u can bring a bag with drinks n a snack from home!

So much room for potential. It's. a great start to a new park, a lot of people don't realize the planning efforts and funding that goes into making this park what it has become as a baseline. I read this month Harry Potter world received a $25M permit for expansion which is much needed. The only attraction i there is SO worth it the ride is incredible and a hybrid of tower of terror, ratatouille and avatars naya river. The animatronics are here! Food is tough at this park, they need better signage for all the little food shops and more options. More hand cleaning stations and more space to sit down after meals. If you go on a weekday with good sneakers you don't need to buy the fast pass but if money ain't an issue and you want to finish everything in 4 hours buy it. Bathrooms are great and clean. I appreciate the new family bathrooms. The facial recognition is impressive! I appreciate no bands for anything except for Nintendo World which was the BEST. So worth it just go!

It's hard to write a review that captures everything that makes this park so EPIC!!! Dare I say this park takes the cake for the best amusement park ever? What really sets it apart from others, is the attention to detail even through the smallest details such as restrooms & line queues! I truly felt immersed & apart of each world after walking through the different portals! I was super thankful to have stayed at a Universal Hotel! That extra hour really makes a different if you're trying to see & do everything here!

Visiting Epic Universe for the first time was something I had been looking forward to for a long time, and overall, it lived up to most of my expectations. The feeding throughout the park is incredible and you can tell a lot of thought and detail went into creating each land. I also really appreciated how spacious the park feels and the food options were surprisingly good. The level of immersion across the park is one of its strongest highlights. My absolute favorite area was Isle of Berk. Everything from the food to the shows to the rides was done well, and it truly felt like stepping into another world. It easily stood out as the most complete and enjoyable land in the park. Super Nintendo world was also very impressive and visually stunning. It really transports you into the games. However, the Donkey Kong ride, Mine-Cart Madness, broke down multiple times during my visit, and the wait time was extremely long for such a short (and honestly, underwhelming) ride. The Dark Universe has a lot of potential but compared to the other lands, it felt like it could use a bit more to fully bring it to life. The Ministry of Magic was beautifully done. The theme and immersion were fantastic and the queue for the main ride was honestly one of the best I've experienced. It was honestly better than the ride itself. One thing I didn't love overall was how the Express Pass system affects wait times. We chose not to purchase it and while I understand its benefits, it did feel like the standby lines moved muuuch slower because of it. It would be nice if there were a bit more balance to make the experience feel fair to all guests.

I had heard from locals that it's a great local option over the big theme parks. Fun Spot was pretty great, for what it was. Free parking, free admission if you don't plan on riding rides, also a discounted adult pass if you only are going on rides with your kid who is too young to ride alone. The whole place was small, maybe the area of a handful of city blocks. And on the Sunday afternoon when we went, the place was quiet enough that we never waited more than a few minutes to get onto a ride. As we were only there for a couple hours, the cashier recommended the 4 ride pass for my kids, and the companion pass for me. But if one were to spend more hours there, buying the day pass online for $59.95 is quite a bargain. Not all rides were open, but the "big" rides that most kids want (the roller coasters and the go carts) were open. My daughter, who is not a big roller coaster fan, had a harder time finding kiddie rides that she actually wanted to go on, and she watched the go carts and didn't even want to try those with me driving. However, the place was small enough that I felt fine leaving my 10 year old son to go on rides by himself while I went on the Ferris wheel or the merry go round with my 8 year old. There are a bunch of food options available throughout the park. They were definitely more affordable than Disney prices! Most of the places offered souvenir cups with discounted refills, but there were also water stations set up throughout with free cups. I'd definitely come back if I had a few hours to burn and the kids didn't want to go swimming. Hopefully at some point, my daughter will change her mind about roller coasters, though!

I walked through the warp pipe entrance and into the land, and that was a genuine moment. The colors, sounds, and scale of everything around me hit immediately in a way that was hard to prepare for even though I knew what to expect. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the music threading through the entire area kept the immersion intact as I moved from one section to the next. Donkey Kong Mine Cart Madness is the ride to prioritize and the one that generates the most excitement in the land. I arrived at park open and went straight here, which was the right strategy as the wait times built quickly. Mario Kart is the other major attraction and delivers on the concept, with the Power Up Band integration adding a competitive layer that makes it more than just a passive ride experience. The Power Up Band is worth purchasing before entering the park if I want the full experience. It unlocks interactive elements and mini games scattered throughout the land that let me collect coins, hit question blocks, and track my score on the app. Without it I could still enjoy the rides and the theming, but a meaningful portion of what makes the land special is tied to having one. At around fifty dollars it is an added cost on top of an already expensive day, but for a Nintendo fan it justifies itself quickly. Weekday visits made a noticeable difference in wait times and gave me more room to engage with the interactive elements without feeling rushed. The land rewards people who slow down and explore rather than just moving through it as efficiently as possible, and there is enough packed into the space that I could spend a solid chunk of the day here without feeling like I had exhausted it.
