I never write Google reviews - but after my dissatisfaction with the alterations performed on my recent order, I felt the need. Unfortunately, the quality of the service I received did not meet the expectations 1 would have from a professional alterations business. I entrusted my garments to your team, and anticipated a level of craftsmanship and attention to detail that Just Alterations is apparently known for based off of previous google reviews. However, upon receiving my items, I noticed several issues that were not addressed adequately. All 3 pair of shorts I brought in to have hemmed; 1) All have crooked and uneven seam lines 2) 2 are misaligned leaving 1 leg opening wider than the other 3) 1 has the seam coming undone (and I only tried on, did not wear) 4) All have what I am hoping are fabric pencil marks that will come out, and not marks left from an iron or steamer. All issues I noticed, and pointed out upon picking up. To my surprise and further disappointment, I still had to pay..... full price! With no discount as if this is an acceptable result for this business. In 40 years, and many many alterations from previous places, I have never seen such poor work, and even worse customer service. read more

Horrible horrible experience here. The day of the wedding as I'm putting on the dress, I immediately realize that there's a pin needle stabbing me in my boob. (I tried on the dress before and did not feel this stabbing pain ) REGARDLESS how do you forget to take that out a straight needle with the ball at the end, nothing to secure it. The maid of honor had to do surgery on the dress and cut this $150 dress open to get that ball needle out!! The lady is saying there's nothing she can do about it when she's the one who did it in the first place. Unprofessional. Uncaring. Rude. read more

The service was fair until I had a horrible experience. I brought some pants with holes to fix. I picked it up a week later to find out it was fixed inside out. The patch work was done on the wrong side. I brought it back a week later to the same lady at the front. She goes on to deny that was their work even though she recognizes that I did bring it in the week before. She refused to acknowledge that it was their mistake and in fact claims I got it done somewhere else. Horrible customer service! I will never use them again. read more

I dropped off a pair of pants to fix some rips. When I picked up the pants I made a fatal mistake and did not check them prior to taking them home. The pants were done incorrectly and when I took it back to the lady, she denied it was their work! Considering I have dropped of things previously and she recognized my face, I'm quite surprised she would deny their craftmanship. She stated they would not do work like that because of the error! She did not appologize and refused to fix it. I told her this was very unprofessional and she did not respond. I asked for my money back and she gave it to me. Worst customer service ever. From what I understand, this is the lost art. I've been using Just Alteration for years, from small to big jobs, and she always does excellent work. I brought my dress to Just Alterations because Yelp reviews were good and I live in the area. My dress was a size too big so I had to have it brought in. The owner pinned the dress to shape. I told her that the breast area would need some adjustment as well but she said it would not look right. I took her word as expertise. I was charged $65. which I thought was high for a single layer dress, but well already there so I agreed. Two weeks later I picked up my dress and tried it on. The breast area was sagging and bunched in the sides. I told the lady that it did not look right and she told me I needed a push up bra. I asked her to fix the issue. She pinned me and said it would be $20 more. The dress is single layer with no frills. Will never come here again. Writing this review so no one else thinks that this place is as great as the other reviews claim it to be. Shame on those who said it was affordable or professional. read more

Our family is thrilled with this alteration business. They are so professional and kind - easy to work with. My husband and I began to eat healthy and exercise regularly three years ago, resulting in a lot of weight loss. We did not want to part with some of our outfits and did not have to when this Alteration crew took them in beautifully!! read more

The only thing good I can say about this place is that the Vietnamese lady was very nice. Other than that, the service was terrible! I had just bought a new suit from Macy's to have altered. I only needed the sleeves lengthen, the jacket's sides taken in and the pants legs cuffed. When I returned to pick up my merchandise the second time (first time they messed up the bottom back of the jacket) it had ripples or lumps in the top back of the jacket, because of uneven sewing. The sleeves looked tacky, but the pants were ok. I told the lady that I wanted some of my money back for this unsatisfactory job. She complied. My suggestion to the guys or ladies: Don't bring your suits here. read more

I was pleased with the service. I dropped off 5 uniform shirts to have 2 patches sewn on each. They were ready in less than 24 hours, the quality of the sewing was very good, and the price was reasonable. The lady who greeted me at drop off and pick up was very pleasant and provided me with great customer service. I'm glad to have found this place! read more

I took my daughters homecoming dress here to have the straps altered. Was charging outrageous price. My daughter called back and said she didn't want them to work on it we were going to take it somewhere else and the lady told her that she would talk to her about it and adjust the price when she picked up the dress. We got there the lady acted confused like she didn't know we're talking about and basically called my daughter a liar. Won't be coming back here. Been going here since my daughters were in elementary school and they're in high school now. They ripped off an innocent girl who didn't know any better and lost a long time customer in the process. read more

Don't take anything here that you care about or are particular about. Took a shirt with a tassel thread tie around the neck area (also took a pair of jeans). See photos. The tassels have a thread wrapping around each and one had come undone. I asked if she could make the one that came undone look exactly like the original that was still in tact. When I picked up my shirt, the work was of such poor quality -- super shottie!! Thread wrapping was not the same length, not the same design, not symmetrical, just pseudo wrapped around in no particular way, threads hanging out in places they shouldn't be. I kindly told the lady that was not what I wanted and asked if it could be redone. She didn't acknowledge my statement or request and just laughed. I told her I wasn't paying for the work. I ended up paying for it anyway as this place is so overpriced and my jeans were so expensive I was pretty much paying for both. I can take clothing to other places that provide a high quality of work for half the price. read more

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! They ruined my wedding dress! And can't even make it right, or even care to make it right. And to top it off she (the manager) can't even tell me what happened to my dress to begin with, because the employee that performed the work speaks Spanish only and she, the manager (of Asian descent that can barely speak English herself) says she can't understand her so it's not her fault she doesn't know what happened to it!
