This time the kind gentleman was not there, but an equally professional and honest young lady by the name of "Dina" assisted me. She was so understanding, and I knew I had made the right choice by going there again. She gave me a generous outcome , more than I had expected. She was honest to tell me to come back another day because she was not familiar with vintage coins I had, and several pieces of broken jewelry that she wanted to make sure I received an honest estimate for. I will be returning again next week to see the kind gentleman who is better qualified to estimate those items if anyone is looking to sell or buy jewelry , coins, etc. I would definitely recommend them 100%. My sister found a notebook that she liked and carried it around while considering it. She placed it back on a table when she decided against it when realizing it was faux leather for over $32.00. As we left the store, she was approached by the owner, and questioned if she was buying it. When she said no, that she put it back, he accused her of stealing it (while not carrying a handbag and wearing tight clothing, that there is no where she could conceal it). I was carrying a tiny crossbody, shorts and tank top. We are horrified by his demeanor and do not ever plan to return. I am furious and embarrassed that my sister was treated so poorly, while in my presence at a store I encouraged us to visit. Read the room, buddy. We are upstanding citizens from a good family....in our late 50's, early 60's respectively. You just shot yourself in the foot, as I have been warning my neighbors and friends to stay clear of this place. Do better!

Walking in, you're pulled into every corner of different reading temptations. From best sellers, to used booked that look barely worn, to a whole children's section to explore in the basement. I bought the sequel to a book a recently finished in the "used" section for $4.99! It looked fresh and hot off the press and snapped it up! Plenty of people had more than two books in their hands, and with their selection, I can see why. The staff was very personal and cheery, sharing their own recommendations when someone was indecisive. No pushiness or hovering over you; just friendly and welcoming. I could've spent a good hour in here, but I did enough damage in 30 minutes. Happy reading!

The older associate then commented loudly that my daughter had no meat on her bones. It is totally unacceptable to comment on another person's body, or what they are wearing. Nobody asked for her opinion. It was not at all appreciated, it was offensive. Extremely unprofessional. We were all so uncomfortable that we left immediately. Body shaming is never acceptable! I could not for the life of me figure out why I couldn't connect my power washer, any of it. I went to Hands out of frustration (even though I got it at Home Depot) the fellow working clearly knew what he was doing and spent probably 10 minutes and told me the connections were a little worped and rusted. Instead of trying to sell me a new one, he taught me that adding a little lubraderm to the joints would make them fit. And he assembled it for me. He wouldn't even take a tip, saying they are not that kind of store and asked me to add a little to the plate at church. Another time I needed some replacement screws and couldn't figure out how to match them exactly. A different person spent 5 minutes not just finding the right screw for me but showing me how to use the equipment they had at the store to do it myself. Another time I needed a replacement outside table. Yet another person spent a lot of time with me listening to what I wanted and my time frame (fast) to try to find me a table that had in stock. Yes, this would have been a pretty big sale for them, but he was really trying to understand my needs and alternatives to make me happy with whatever I purchased. Always friendly, epic service!
