I was a stay-at-home dad for the first year of my son's life. He started at JKF2 and the first day he was having a blast! He made friends with the other kids easily. The teachers were super understanding of how the transitional period could be and handled business so gracefully that my son didn't even really notice that he had entered a totally new environment. My wife and I were skeptical of daycare in general. We hear horror stories from everyone we know with kids about how daycares exploit the parents and mistreat your children. Just For Kids 2 on Ashland City Road in Clarksville TN has completely flipped that boring old script completely upside down. Sure, you can take the word of your friends and coworkers when it comes to child care. People enjoy complaining. Especially when in the presence of familiar people. It creates an even playing field for them to relate to each other. Anyway, psychology aside, this place is great. The ladies at the front desk are kind, considerate, and honest. The teachers are talented, patient, and knowledgeable about taking care of children. They help establish a routine in your child's life and help them learn how to interact with strangers and other kids. My son got sick while enrolled there. This isn't the daycare's fault. Kids get sick. I couldn't bring him back for a while. We still ended up having to pay weekly even though he didn't attend, but that seems to be the normal way these kinds of businesses operate. You can't just reserve a spot somewhere, not go, and then not pay. Your child has a reserved spot there and you can bring them any time you like. This is completely normal. Once we are ready for daycare again, JFK2 will be our first stop! Like I said, everyone who works here is super nice. If you have little discrepancies with billing, or any other issues that arise, instead of being a huge asshole try having a conversation without an attitude with them. Absolutely HATE this daycare!!! The manager of the facility is hateful & rude. The rest of the staff aren't much better. At first, they were okay, but my kids have bn there over a year, and I can't stand this place. My kid 3yr old screams & cries EVERYDSY begging me not to leave her there. She says her teacher is mean to her. Their policy is that drop-off time is b4 10am, but I was told that if we were ever gonna b late to jus call ahead of time and let them know. So today, I called to inform them that we would be running about 20mins late and was told that she would not b allowed to attend if not there by 10am. Now I have to miss work, which really wasn't an option. I feel that if I'm paying for daycare services then I should be able to utilize those services whenever I need to, whether it's after 10am or not. read more

This review is for the Just For Kids II @ Needmore Rd in Clarksville, TN. Before we moved out here, my girlfriend and I were looking at all types of daycare facilities. We ended up choosing this place because we liked what we saw and some of the reviews. Once our son(3) started going, we were told everyday he was having an amazing day. I have to say about a month in, the ladies up front were telling me and my girlfriend that he was throwing chairs, walking on tables, and banging his head against the glass doors. Let me tell you something, nothing more pissed me off than this. Our son has NEVER done any of those things at his last daycare and never did it here either. The reason why I know because you have the option to opt in for camera access which we did. I watched it everyday and I have NEVER seen him do any of that. The 3's room went down for naps at 11:15-11:30. In my honest opinion that is way too early. Our son wasn't the only one who had problems going down that early. His last daycare went down around 12-12:15 and he never had any troubles. I prefer to pay monthly rather than weekly for daycare. You literally have zero options on this. I know some people might think I'm crazy but there should be options on how you want to pay. The staff acts like they are above everything and talk to you like you are clueless person. There have been times I got calls from the daycare when they said our son was doing something wrong inside his classroom around this such and such time but come to find out he was outside playing on the playground. How can these workers be so clueless. Overall, I would not recommend this daycare to anyone. If you want a good daycare that cares about your child/children, go to Kiddieland Child Care off Cinderella Ln. It's literally 5 minutes down the road from the 1st gate. read more

I have have little to no issue with this daycare. Whenever there was an issue it was addressed immediately. My 5yr old daughter has been going there for 2 yrs and really enjoys going and the staff. She was also recently diagnosed with epilepsy and they have been great with open communication and taking extra precautions with her. Very disappointed . Office staff is rude and everyone that works here is related. If you complain to anyone, do not expect it to be taken care of, they will talk About you and team up. Owners mom tries To run the center. Workers should be drug tested. Also new workers every other week. Cannot keep workers for some reason ? Everyday was introduced to new person watching my children. This review is for the Needmore road location. I find many of the teachers and support staff to be outstanding. The policies and interpretation/decisions regarding these policies and day to day operation by the owner's mother is deplorable. Her social skills are greatly lacking in polish and professionalism, general organization, and communication leave much to be desired. My advice to the owner is to part ways with her mother's inability to manage a facility where parents place the trust and development of our children. Move her to the other location, parents as well as the staff would be very appreciative. read more

My daughter truly loves going to daycare here! She always opens her opens to the teachers during drop offs. This is very relieving and makes me feel good when leaving. The entire staff is naturally very sweet. I love the fact when you call to check on your little one they transfer the call directly to the teacher. read more

This place is horrible. I would not recommend anyone to take their child here. They over charge and make you pay even though your child won't be there. Or they are closed you still have to pay. Everyday I would go to pick up my child they would complain about how my child screams (she is 2 1/2 months old). They have cameras and I could see what was happening where she was at and they would just put her down in her crib and let her scream it out. Or on the floor or in a bouncy seat. The only time they would interact with my child is when they were feeding her. These people are not compassionate they won't help you out if you can't pay they will contact your chain of command and get you in trouble if you can't pay. They are horrible people. The most they would do for me we split up a payment to two weeks that doesn't help if I only get paid every two weeks. So now I have to pay two day cares for one week. It's the holidays and now I won't be able to do special things for Xmas due to having to pay these people. So if you are considering this place don't. Most other places have the same security measures this place has and better staff. And I am speaking of the just for kids behind hobby lobby. read more

The negative reviews on this place is a complete shock to me! I love this place 2 of my girls have been here and my stepson and they did an amazing job. The staff was always very sweet to me and the front office lady knew my daughter by name and spoke every time she left! The did great work preparing my oldest for kindergarten! We honestly never had one issue and every time I call to check on my little one they were always more than helpful and happy for me to call! My girls have been cared for by family mostly so it was a big adjustment for them and me both! read more
