I bought a 12 pack of lymphatic massages from Just For You after a recent surgery and I'm so glad I did. I was super nervous and didn't know what to expect (will it hurt, etc) but I booked my first session 2 days after my surgery and made it to the appointment in their beautiful Mill Valley Location. Yes- you really can go a day or two after surgery. Jordana was wonderful - she was very kind and eased my nerves immediately, even though I was 30 minutes late (whoops.) The massage was very gentle, not painful at all- and afterwards she advised on my compression garments and sent me on my way feeling so much better and with a lot more mobility than when I hobbled in. A few days later I saw Stefanie in the San Francisco location- she was also wonderful- but I ended up mostly going up to Mill Valley for the rest because the location is more convenient from where I live (and has free parking :) I'm not sure where I'd be without Jordana at this point-probably a ball of anxiety and nerves which apparently isn't good for recovery. It's been amazing to see someone consistently who can tell me if everything is looking and healing OK, and help adjust the compression when needed. I really can't recommend her enough - if you're thinking about booking, just do it. Worth every penny! read more

Luciana and Campbell are the two I was blessed to work with during my recovery. Their style of lymphathic drainage massages is unique and effective. I would definitely recommend these massages to anyone that is recovering from an injury, post-op instructions, or just feeling sluggish and need to drain their system of toxins and get more energy. I was so impressed with the level of care for my post surgical massages. I was so comfortable with the staff and looked forward to my treatments that I scheduled every 2 days for a period of time to reduce my swelling and promote lymphatic drainage. I am so happy to get to write a review about Luciana as she is both extremely talented at what she does but also possesses very strong emotional intelligence which means she connects with and understands her patients very well at a time when they are feeling their most vulnerable after surgery. In my case I had pretty invasive stomach surgery which left me with a with a large incision/scar across my abdomen. My surgeon did an awesome job to manage my expectations and his work was super neat, I was prepared for a recovery period that would involve some discomfort and he let me know that Lucianas lymphatic drainage massages were a must to aid my recovery, speed up healing and achieve the best results possible. Obviously I was nervous, first of all because I was sore and in pain only a week after surgery and second of all because I'd never had this kind of massage or met Luciana before so I was worried that it would hurt and uncertain about what to expect. I need not have worried, meeting Luciana she put me right at my ease immediately, explaining what she was going to do, the results it would achieve and most of all how it would relieve the discomfort my body was feeling. She also gave me great tips on self massage and diet that would help my recovery speed along when I was at home and between sessions with her. Thinking about my first visit I went in feeling like my body was a block of wood, really solid and uncomfortable, and with my body feeling alien to me and emerged feeling so much better and a little more human. After every visit I could see the progress and her encouragement helped me mentally and aided me in staying super positive. Within 6 weeks of my first surgery I am feeling back to my old self and I am super happy with how my body is recovering and looking. Lucianas massages have been so good that I actually want to keep visiting after my batch of recovery sessions. I often tell her she has magic hands because after every massage I feel renewed and my body feels much healthier and I can tell that lymphatic massage has huge benefits outside of recovery. I also appreciate how Luciana checks in via text and is super flexible and approachable - she has truly made a huge difference to my recovery, I have really enjoyed meeting her and I can see why there's a reason why multiple surgeons recommend her services - she is simply amazing and I cannot recommend her enough. So if you take anything away from this review I would say don't be afraid to go and get a massage with Luciana after surgery because you will come out feeling like a new person and like your body has been kick started into recovery. Ok ladies and gents, you have found her. Luciana has hands of an angel, no joke whatsoever!!! She's also just an angel in general. She is truly dedicated to making your body the best it can be- whether you are looking to relax, have an injury, recent surgery, pre or post natal; you name it!!! I personally am a client of her lymphatic post surgery massages. I had the hardest time finding someone in the area who knew the human body and it's healing process. I feel so lucky to have found her! I got a package (do it!) and went 2x a week after major PS. Not only did she make me feel good, she made me look good-- my PS even commented on it! I LOVE Luz and Campbell. I had so much weird stuff and such a hard time recovering from having a baby and my system just felt sluggish - they have helped me heal when nobody else could. I then got into a car accident and their work helped clear the bruising and contusions way faster than they were clearing on their own. Then I sprained my ankle (I know, it's been a rough few trips around the sun...) and they were able to help with that too! I needed to get the swelling out of my ankle and heal up to avoid surgery. Their work has truly helped the swelling go down faster than I was able to with just PT exercises. I feel healthier, more energetic and happier when I see these two. I think everyone should get Brazilian Lymphatics after any kind of surgery or trauma or even just because we get exposed to so many chemicals every day. I have been working with Luciana now for the second month in a roll. I am truly impressed with her work and my results in such a short time period. Luciana is amazing. I came to her after having a serious surgery and she massaged me back to health. I originally needed lymphatic massages and only was able to find 3 in the Bay Area. The first place I decided to go to cost around double the price or so, yet I felt the quality was nowhere as close to Luciana's work.
