JnMarie Transport is the exception. Shak and his team provided an accurate estimate based on what i described within 30 minutes, and sent the same description to other haulers. Other quotes we significantly higher and i stuck with Shak. He arrived and updated his quote based on a site review and the job at hand. I was very surprised by the updated quote which remained much lower than i expected based on past experience. Shak and his partner did a fantastic job way beyond what i could have asked for and even came back to help my put my garage back together with the items i was keeping. It really depends the direction from which you're coming. If you're heading up Woodlawn from Portland, it's on the far side of a building, in an upper parking lot. It'd be easy to miss. Once I arrived, it was fairly straightforward. They have a ton of parking spaces. I backed up my car to the door (it wasn't busy so that made it easier). I hopped out and waited maybe 20 seconds before someone who works there greeted me. I explained why I was there, he helped me, I left. Also: their Web site (while maybe a little outdated) is useful! Not that I even expected a recycling place to have a Web site, but they do.
