Just kidding learning center has been so lovely and communicative. I have seen my daughter thrive there. We had a negative experience elsewhere and are so glad we found this facility. All the staff have been warm and welcoming.It hasn't been long, but they have restored my faith in daycare. Love this day care for my children, new owners and staff are very friendly and welcome everyone who comes through their doors!! My kids come home learning new curriculum each week, kids are taught manners and responsibility for their actions towards others during school and absolutely love prayer time before meals!! My children loved it there until the new owners took over. We were forced to leave due to the new policy changes. It's disappointing. Some of the staff have also expressed concern to me over their treatment as well. Also, the owner's response to the other commentator has been altered to change the narrative. The letter I received states the new agenda is starting August 1st and does not say optional but required. Seems rather uncouth if you ask me. read more

My daughter's breakfast was taken away from her. Based on my four year olds rendition she stated she had to do as daddy stated and stand up for her self stating "I won't say prayer it's my first amendment right." She informed me the other children had to ask for her to have her lunchbox back in order for her to eat breakfast. Children should not have to express to adults their constitutional rights in a daycare for their right to food. My daughter then stated she heard staff talking about her father by name and made her uncomfortable. Highly inappropriate establishment. read more

We've had our son, who's now 10 months, here since he was 3 months and we absolutely LOVE it. The staff is amazing! So helpful, so patient, attentive and understands what it's like being a first time parent! They communicate really well and always there for questions. The facility is so large and spacious and very well maintained! I feel so lucky everyday that we found this place! My grandson attends this school three days a week and we could not be happier. He has really enjoyed being a little scholar here. The teachers are fantastic and the place is so clean. Everyone knows him by name. There are safety measures taken to make sure the children are protected from outsiders trying to come in. My grandson has moved up to the next level class and he is very happy here. Every time I pick him up he is happy and playing with the other children. The best part is that he is learning basic sign language. They also learn about letters, colors and numbers. We can tell a big difference since he has been attending this school. My kids went here for three years and I loved it as did they! Had such a great experience with so many teachers, especially the ones who work with younger ages. By far the best place I've been to. I've changed daycare facilities with my first so often based on how the staff would treat me or my daughter. I wish I would have found this place sooner so I could have put my first child here. Luckily my second daughter gets to reap the benefits. The staff is amazingly friendly, generous and they genuinely care about your littles. My daughter is a stubborn bull and has loads of personality. She's not the type to hide how she feels about anyone and she loves it here. She gets excited about going everyday!! Thank you for such an unforgettable adventure. My son just finished his first week at just kidding in the 10 month- 2 year olds room. I'm not one to leave reviews but I've had such a good experience with everything from the staff, front desk, to the teachers (ms Kennedy & ms aly) they have put all my worries at ease of leaving my baby for the first time at a daycare. Everyone has been so helpful and great with my son. They've really made sure he transitions good and they even update me throughout the day of how he's done. An absolute joke. I feel bad for the other kids who attend here as their parents have no other choice, our son went here for three days and was having trouble adjusting to his new environment. Some staff are ok and actually cared but the manager doesn't. She actually said he was autistic and after having him evaluated at Stanford in California they said no he wasn't. She also said he would have to leave , as it turns out they never gave him his juice which we packed daily for him in another thermos and they never gave him his am or pm snacks. This was in the dead of summer when it was 110 outside. This is supposed be a professional daycare and they should be able to handle a child who doesn't adjust quickly , even our pediatrician said it takes up to 4 weeks for kids to adjust. Some of the staff looked really young to be working there also. Believe your kids if they say they are having a hard time here. read more

When we first enrolled our son at JKLC, he was roughly a year old. Having been in a home daycare setting, the reluctancy to have him in such an environment was high, to be honest. The experience for him was great, up until he went into the preschool class at 3yrs. In order for him to go into this class, he had to be completely potty trained, which luckily for us, he was for about a year. This all changed though when starting this class. He started having major issues with accidents, begging (literally) to not go to school, crying hysterically when I would drop him off, and not wanting to stay once my husband picked him up. 2 weeks after an incident with him, my husband went to pick him up as usual, and about 30 kids were all outside playing, with 3-4 staff members. They said that our son was in the bathroom, yet none of the teachers were near the door. When my husband opened the door, he found our 3yr old, hysterically crying, his pants around his ankles, and he was covered in his own urine and feces, he had been left unattended for roughly 15-20 minutes. No one offered him any help, and allowed for him to be totally neglected. My husband had to take him home like that. Thanks to this experience, for 2+ weeks of going to the bathroom, he was mortified to be alone and have the door shut, an issue we had never experienced before, or since his departure from this daycare. The door is an exterior storm door, and locks from the outside. The door was also too heavy for him to open on his own. I made the owner aware immediately the next day that he would no longer be attending their program, and that I was going to CPS about the issue. Although she was understanding, the situation should have never occurred. It was the major issue ontop of a slew of other issues. This is not a preschool by any standards, it is simply a daycare, and not a good one. They hire teenagers to educate and take care of your children, during the most important growth/learning periods of their lives. They have no business taking care of, or basically, helping raise any child. We have since moved our son to a new PRESCHOOL, and he is no longer having any issues, and FINALLY has a learning ciriculum, and is not falling behind. read more
