I really love Ace Hardware stores! The farm where we hunt is in Powell Co. and we needed salt…read moreblocks but had forgotten to get them so we looked up stores near Clay City on Yelp and this Ace popped up. We went in for salt blocks but managed to spend an hour just browsing the aisles. They sell a little bit of everything in Ace, which is why I love them so much. Whether you need a Big Green Egg, a Yeti, or canning jars, you can find it at Ace. They had 5 or 6 varieties of apples for sale that you could buy by the pound. I had never seen that in an Ace but they smelled great and so we had to buy some. There is a black cat named Baby that wanders around the store that also adds charm to a small-town hardware plus misc. store. We found it asleep on the deer corn on our visit.

The second was to install three turbines on the roof to remove excessive attic heat in the summer. Both jobs were completed quickly, the crew was exceptionally trained to do the work and the price for both jobs, while not cheap, was certainly reasonable. Highly recommend.
