They are housing the George Hasey Popcorn Wagin and many local artifacts. Thank goodness for the Columbus Historical Historic Landmarks and Preservation Commission, the local government entity for keeping the knowledge of the area's people's artifacts, knowledge, and more for generations to be educated about and see in person. The George Hasey Popcorn Wagon is a notable historical artifact in Columbus, Wisconsin.   Historical Significance: George Hasey owned and operated the popcorn wagon in Columbus for many years, making it a local fixture.   It's a Dunbar popcorn wagon, and examples of these in excellent condition are rare. The wagon has a rich history, including periods where it was moved out of Columbus and then brought back by community efforts. Community Involvement: The community of Columbus has played a significant role in preserving and maintaining the wagon. There have been fundraising efforts to support its preservation and to provide a suitable display location.   The Columbus Wisconsin Area Historical Society is housing house the wagon in their museum.   Current Status: The wagon is a preserved historical artifact in Columbus, Wisconsin. It is,housed in a museum setting. It is still used for events, to provide popcorn to the public.   In essence, the George Hasey Popcorn Wagon is a beloved piece of local history that the community of Columbus has worked hard to preserve.

While they say on the site you would get a full refund everywhere prior to cancellation, once you cancel you get only 90% and it states you only get 90%. The 90% is not even on all the fees or full price. So on a nearly $90 reservation we received back about $75. We will not be adding our reservation back and will go elsewhere. Upon further thought if they are not honest and up front on pricing, they may be like other prices and cut corners on the ad retired experience as well. If we are driving an hour or more, we'd like it to be worth it. Plus I hate being ripped off.
