In my 20 years of renting privately and in complexes like Madison Court, I have never had a better experience. From management to maintenance to neighbors. I lived here for 4 years. Madison Court is a smaller complex compared to others. So it has a great sense of community. My unit was a 1 bedroom apt. Open floor plan. The bathroom was quite larger than I was expecting. Plenty of closet space. Not too much counter space in the kitchen, but I never found it to be troublesome. I read reviews that mentioned thin walls. I personally never experienced that problem. Aside from the normal apt noise. If your neighbor is arguing loudly, yeah you can hear. Are they having friends over and music is loud, sure you can hear that. But I'm an understanding guy. If you're not, you might complain of "thin walls". But I didn't once in four years. There are plenty of households with children. This was never a problem. Never too loud. Never mischievous. My final compliment goes to Lorraine and the other office/maintenance personnel. Incredibly friendly. Like, incredibly. Above and beyond. Understanding and caring team. They listen to your issues so they can work to resolve them. They don't blow you off or pretend that such an issue could never happen. Usually instant respond times. Problems were always fixed, not rigged to just break later. With the pricing, area, layout, and most of all the management team I HIGHLY recommend Madison Court Apts to every one looking for a great comfortable place to call home.

Taylor Woods began as a really nice apartment complex, but it was the management that ruined our…read moreexperience. We lived there for five years in that time we found MOLD in our bathroom that broke the tile. The person in charge, THERESA waited SEVEN months before doing anything about it. I had to call corporate in order for them to do anything about it. When our washer broke, we waited WEEKS and their fix was to have us walk two apartment buildings over to wash our clothes- during the winter no less. Their maintenance man only dealt with my husband, never me (unfortunately he was apparently sexist), and once said he refused to come in because my dog (who was a two month old puppy at the time) was in the home- mind you, she was crated, but he lied and said she wasn't. They would walk into our homes and leave without ever letting us know they were there. It happened on THREE separate occasions. Once, we called the emergency maintenance line because we were locked out of our home at 11pm and he REFUSED to come because he didn't think it was an emergency. Unfortunately, with the exception of Tammy, they are all liars and really unprofessional. I am writing this review a year after I left because I am still dealing with their horridness. I had packages delivered there (which is my fault completely) so Tammy had to go retrieve them. They found one of the packages three months later (just last week); they provided times for when I can pick the items up, but they are NEVER there. So they don't even adhere to their own business hours. I guess having people lease apartments doesn't matter to them because they are never actually in the office. Everyone in the complex complains- they NEVER do their jobs (again, Tammy is the exception). Theresa is rude, condescending and unprofessional. She tried to belittle me in an email today, which was uncalled for. There are FAR more cost effective locations that are better in tune with their residents- STAY AWAY FROM TAYLOR WOODS.

There are a LOT of hidden charges in this complex - package service, valet trash, VERY high sewer charges. They charged us an amenity fee and then only returned a tiny fraction of it due to Covid 19. They have parking stickers for their significantly less than ample parking and if you don't return them when you move out they charge you $50 per sticker. We had a 2 bedroom apartment and were issued 2 stickers. My color was far on the other side of the building where there is not an entrance. Not great in the rain or when you have heavy groceries. They have the most disgusting dumpster area and we know this because we had to use it several times because their valet trash picks up earlier than it used to due to Covid 19. If you work outside of the home, it is very easy to miss it. Also heaven forbid if you have something bigger than the tiny trash can to throw away - they don't take it. Why pay a fee for trash service that you can't use, but you can't opt out of it. Our apartment was cleaned, the nail holes were patched and I was still charged about 1/3 of my security deposit. I've always gotten 100% returned but I'm not surprised considering how fee happy this complex is. While we were thrilled when we moved in, by the time we moved out - their management style got on our very easy going nerves. You can't get them on the phone, they don't return calls. They provide no check list or instructions when you give them notice that you are moving out. This is an expensive "luxury" complex but you aren't treated that way.

I've been waiting since Dec 11, 2020 for maintenance to put a light bulb in the kitchen and bathroom and fix the microwave. We're told if it's not an emergency they're holding of on maintenance request due to Covid. Sorry but we have no idea how long Covid will last and that's not an excuse to not fix the issues in ones apartment. On Jan 28 the Supervisor of maintenance left me a message he would be in Tuesday or Wednesday the following week. That was last week no one came. Then I was told on 2/5 they will be in on 2/10 or 2/11. Still no maintenance! I've had issues before.. a mouse caught on camera, due to the leak in the wall that maintenance left open for over 5 days. Toilet flooded and they would not fix the issue until the following day. I have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath plus den apartment and 1 side of the apartment is freezing during the winter and extremely hot during the summer. The only solution maintenance could offer was to try and close some of the vents to push the air... DOESN'T WORK! All I can say is renter beware! I should say in all fairness the closet space is great and the square footage is great. So you have to decide space vs every thing else.

Why wait until later to claim that the damage was already there, We have a security camera in our living room that caught the damage and photos of the extreme damage and mess they left.
