I knew that finding the right realtor for me was going to be key for me during the home buying process. I started looking at houses this past winter, but I didn't have high expectations that I would find anything for at least 10+ months. Because I expected an extended timeframe, ensuring my realtor was someone I would enjoy being around was critical. Luckily, Krissi showed up as her authentic (and fun) self. It didn't take me long at all to realize I made the right choice to have her as my realtor. Plus, when I informed her that I wasn't looking to buy immediately but just wanted someone to be available if I needed them, she was patient and understanding. Our experience with Howard Hanna and loan officer Howard Lurie revealed a pattern of concerning…read morepractices that warrant serious consideration by prospective borrowers. We were charged unexplained fees that were not disclosed in our loan estimates, and when we questioned these inflated charges, management could not justify the increases. Additionally, multiple last-minute cancellations occurred near our closing date, each one disrupting our timeline and creating financial uncertainty. Most significantly, on July 17th--just four days before our scheduled closing--Mr. Lurie informed us that our OFHA program was no longer applicable to our loan. This decision came only after we formally documented and submitted concerns about his professionalism and punctuality to management. The timing and circumstances of this program cancellation suggest it was retaliatory in response to our complaints rather than driven by legitimate loan criteria. As a result of these actions, we are unable to close on our home and have incurred significant costs. We are filing formal complaints with the Ohio Fair Housing Agency and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. We cannot recommend this company to anyone considering a mortgage.

He marketed the home well, but in the selling process tried selling my home, as a home underestimated by a price of only $400, 000 as the home is officially Licensed Appraisal of $575,000. In the showing of the home, many offers came in at bidding offers and Mark Kovi forcefully told me that he would only sell the home at $400,000. After higher bids exceeded the price of $400,000, Mark Kovi walked out of selling my home for any higher bids. Mark Kovi in retaliation, refused to let me out of the remainder of the contract out of "Spite" and expected me to take a $100,000 loss of money on my home, so he could just make his commission and make my home to take a loss. Mr. Mark Kovi currently has a track record of two other "Homeowner's", Mark Kovi is preventing them to sell their homes, by keeping them stuck also, like my contract they do not want to be in because Mark Kovi wants to make a commission at all costs to the homeowner. Mr. Mark Kovi should grow up and stop hurting people trying to sell their homes underestimated by Mark Kovi, instead of forcefully telling the homeowner what to do, for Mak Kovi's inexperience of acting like a Real Estate agent.

BTW- I don't have time to write reviews here on Yelp, but let me say this; please, if you come across someone who deserves more than just a "Yelp" review -write a flipping Yelp review on them. These people/companies deserve it!!! Erin goes way past the extra mile. I never left my home in Monterey, California, at any time during the transaction. She ran all over the place to close the deal for us (to the city, to the title company (and set up the escrow in Cali so we could sign docs), to meet my tenants, to meet with inspectors at the property, she had excellent repairs folks at her fingertips (i.e., when the bank wanted electrical and plumbing fixed prior to funding/closing), etc.). Wheeew!.... That was a mouth full. She was there every step of the way. And she made it so we received over $10K more than I ever thought we would at closing (yep it was a nice house and she did not sell it cheap [She got us ALL the money on that one]). She was spot on with market values and her market strategy, and more...when all's I ever wanted to do was dump the fringing house and get it off our books. From the first day I called her to the day we closed; was only 67days, from listing the house, showing the house, etc., etc., etc. and did I mention she got us an EXTRA $10K plus ;-).... Yes, I am ecstatic and delighted. We LOVE YOU, ERIN!!!! Background: I interviewed four other local companies (realtors) in the Lorain, Ohio area before I found Erin and the other companies were a bit flaky and/or just not as professional as I would have expected/liked. In any event, Erin was my 5th call, and in speaking with her .... I knew then ... I had found my person! Most importantly, Erin knows the housing market in Ohio.... like the back of her hand. She was professional at every step of the way, and my wife and I can't thank her enough. We do, however, still have six bottles of nice California wine we are sending out to her soon as I promised.
