Worst experience with a Real Estate Agent in our lives. Would give zero stars, if allowed to do such. Ashton Ernst w/ Landis Group-Bolst came out to the house we are selling three times. Once was for the hard sell to take the listing. The second time, a Buyers Agent mixed up the keys from a different home in the lock box. Third time was after we asked for an Agents Caravan to take place. Very few showings with a small sampling size & limited(untimely for those few)feedback to go on. Wouldn't come out or meet us when we disputed the differences in what the designer wanted us to do, compared to the "few changes" needed during the initial Agent walkthrough. A huge disconnect. In our out of state purchase, the Landis Group accepted a 2k referral fee for giving us a name of the agent in that city. The house they were hired to sell in Georgia, did not sell during the contractural terms of the 90 days. We worked with April to buy our house this past summer and had a phenomenal experience. We are moving from Massachusetts so we started our search virtually, before visiting Atlanta for 3 days to tour houses in person. Leading up to our visit, April communicated with us regularly about the homes we were interested in, our plans and our itinerary. She put a lot of thought into our tour schedule to make sure we saw all the homes we were interested in, grouped by area to minimize cross-city driving through traffic, and working around our work and personal schedules. We also appreciated that she was extremely flexible and was able to change our itinerary last minute to make sure we toured a home that had been listed after she had already arranged all of our tours. Touring homes with her was a great time. She made the process fun and easy, was knowledgeable about the different neighborhoods we visited, and quickly reached out to agents and contractors in her network to get answers to any questions we had about different homes and work that we might want to have done. We also were touring with 2 toddlers, and she was extremely flexible with us needing to take breaks to accommodate them. She was also really great with the kids and made the long days super fun for them and even gave them balloons. Once we decided on the home we wanted, putting in our offer and the negotiation process was super quick, easy and stress free, especially considering we were no longer in Atlanta. April explained everything clearly, offered her recommendations, and genuinely cared about our opinions as we negotiated our offer.
