He wears his daily (I can't due to medical issues) and the elastic has started to shred. He asked if I'd see about getting it restrung. I went to three different jewelers who all declared that they did repairs and restringing when asked. Each of them changed that story as soon as they saw that I wasn't asking to have pearls restrung. A couple of them acted as if I was asking for them to string turds together. And every single one referred to Ma Perle with arrogant disdain. One of them had the audacity to call them "not a real jeweler". When I walked in the door of Ma Perle, I was greeted by two ladies who were warm and inviting. They explained the material used to restrung and that it would need to be replaced again. I was told that the beads could be strung onto a metal chain if Spawn A would like to come in to be measured at a later date. Ma Perle happily explained the cost and offered to have it ready the next day. I got the sense that they'd be able to rush should I need it faster. The offerings in the small shop appeared to be, in fact, jewelry of impeccable quality. I picked up the bracelet the next day. They were just as friendly and welcoming as the day before. The cost was more than reasonable and the turn around was fantastic. Ma Perle treated me and my "trinket" with respect and dignity and has solidified us as repeat customers.

I was looking for an Omega Aqua Terra 15,000 Gauss and wanted it to arrive before leaving for several weeks overseas. I contacted their sales manager Tamarah six business days before my flight and she immediately ordered it from Omega then had it shipped from the NL to my home in CA via UPS International Express. It safely arrived this morning and I am now at SFO waiting for my flight happily wearing my new Omega. I would give Tamarah and a Team Ace 10 stars if I could because they are that great to deal with. What sets them apart is their customer service which is second to none, they provide superior complimentary shipping (UPS Express) and they are authorized dealers for many of the top watch brands. On top of this their prices are very competitive (especially with weak Euro) and there are no issues with VAT. I was contacted recently by a UK based Omega AD with very low prices due to the plummeting GBP but the VAT form/process was my responsibility which is a pain. The woman who was helping me would only address my husband, which was weird considering it was my watch. I actually had to tell her to look at me. 3 months later, I called them to find out what was going on bc I had not heard anything. I was told they would call me back that day, which they did not. i heard from them the day afterwards where they told me that the service point wanted to do a full service for 338 euros. I told them that I only wanted the lunette repaired, but apparently they had no control over what the service point would or would not do for me. I was very frustrated and told him to just have the watch sent back. I went in today to pick it up and the same woman from the first time tried to charge me 50 euros for the cost of the estimate, even though the slip, which she wrote, said 30. I was pretty upset at this point and was offered no apology and instead was confronted by a very rude attitude. Amsterdam has a lot better jewelry stores, so I would avoid this one!! I now have a broken watch and am 30 euros lighter in the wallet.

We were very lucky that he happened to have a canceled appointment, and we were able to pop in. Hans immediately assisted us, showing us several rings that we had been interested in. He helped us with sizing, and gave us some good advice on what type of rings would compliment our hands, based on some of the feedback that we gave him. In the end, we really lucked out. The rings that we had been really drawn to were available, and close to our size. Hans worked a late night in order to get the rings resized for us, as we were leaving the next day. When we picked them up, he gave us all the necessary paperwork for our VAT refund, and he was helpful in that respect as well. We really couldn't be happier with our experience with Hans. He was extremely friendly, and helpful. We both agreed that we really got the feeling that he puts his heart into his work, and that he really cares about his clients and their happiness.
