They do have grass fed version as well so I guess I can hold judgement till I have tried the steaks. Otherwise plenty of options for chicken i.e ground (white and dark) packaged skinless and boneless and one can order in advance apparently to get the meat butchered to one's liking. I also enjoyed browsing the other organic items and though wasn't looking for anything in particular found some items that peaked my curiosity. Prices were in line with other organic meats. The best part for me that even though it was Sunday the place wasn't a mad house like other spots. I will be back for sure and will update after I have tried the all important steaks.

Nothing like finding your center and then immediately seeking out a center-cut pork chop. This shop was a short, pleasant walk away and I was immediately impressed by the selection. I left with an armful of goodies: steaks, whole chicken legs, pork, and even some local eggs and house-made bone broth. I also had the pleasure of trying their house-made pork and beef sausages, both of which were fantastic. These are definitely on the list for the next time I have guests over. The service was quick, the attendant got me sorted out efficiently, and the prices were noticeably better than what I'm used to paying in midtown. It's conveniently located right on the 501 streetcar line on Queen St. West. While my hunt for a go-to butcher closer to home continues, I would absolutely come back here anytime I'm in the neighborhood.

They have an easy to understand price list right on the front page of their website. When they let you know our order is ready you simply go over to the shop and someone comes to the door to ask your name. You can do a tap payment through the window (they bring the machine to the window) and then the hand you your bag of goodies. We ordered a delicious bone-in rib steak. It was so juicy and delicious (and huge!). It came in vacuum sealed packaging for easy storage in the fridge or freezer, but we devoured it the same day. They also have various deli meats, cheeses, milk, and butter. Their freezers are stocked with various pre-made meals which look very tasty and worth trying on a busy night. Ended up leaving with three awesome sauces, one flattened whole Piri Piri chicken and a hot sausage. Cheryl was helping us today and she was just lovely! If you look at my photo, the bread slices look typical of any brand of mass-produced whole-wheat bread, nothing special. But the taste jumped out at me and over-powered the heavy sweetness of the meat and the tangy sourness of the mustard. Combined together it was heavenly. The salad was ok, can't go wrong with something basic like that and the butter tart was a perfect way to top off my lunch.
