Based on that painful experience I won't ever engage their services for even cleaning the pool. We have moved on and won't reconsider them any further. They burnt out our brand new pump, claim parts and pieces were broken for our new handle piece that we have no access to and did not tighten the pipes properly. Overly priced and inefficient. We actually spent more money opening the pool through them than we would have hiring them for the season to clean the pool and I had no choice but to hire another pool company to check their work because this was such an uncharted process and I didn't trust them after all was said and done. They had no problems with running my credit card and even charging a late fee for payment although we wanted to ensure their work was proper from the next company hired, a delay of two weeks payment which is crazy since they delayed our pool opening by at least a month with their mistakes. I would classify this business as a scam. Used Erik a few times for one off maintenance (should…read morehave stopped there since he never showed when he said he would) and then went into an annual contract where he was supposed to come once a month. Paid upfront flor the year, he came once, never came again and stopped responding to texts and calls. That's right...took our money for the entire year and ran. I'm shocked no one has taken him to court for breech of contract. I'm clearly not the only one who has paid him and not received the product or service.

His pricing is also more competitive than most. However, actually getting consistent service from him has been a challenge. Our communication has been rocky from the start, largely because Eric is extremely unorganized. He's often messy with scheduling, and there have been multiple times when we agreed on a visit to a property, and he simply didn't show up--without any notice, and with no response to calls or texts. Another major issue is his temperament. He has a short fuse, and when he believes he's right, he resorts to aggressive language and constant cursing. Even when I prove him wrong and he briefly apologizes, the same behavior returns the next day. I've continued giving Eric business out of patience and understanding for his situation. I've kept him busy and even referred multiple clients to him, which brought him more work. But the last incident was the final straw. He failed to show up at my personal home for four consecutive weeks, despite our agreement for weekly visits every Thursday. As a result, I and my guests couldn't use the pool and hot tub multiple times. He promised to come the following day (Friday), apologized, and then still didn't show up. The final time I followed up, he replied with, "No, we are clearly not coming in the rain. Seriously?" -- without even a proper notice or attempt to reschedule. This level of unreliability and disrespect is unacceptable, especially after all the work and referrals I've given him. I've been patient long enough, but I can no longer tolerate this kind of behavior.

But more than that I truly felt he went out of his way to make sure I received the best service possible and was happy with our new pool. In addition to pool installation, I had to have a sewer pit installed and a retaining wall with additional cement patio. Both supplied contractors were very good. The sewer pit was installed by Mikula Contracting out of Clifton, and I couldn't say enough about them. Professional, timely and completion of job was unmatched. They went above the contracted service to assist with my gutter connections and leveling my yard. The concrete work was performed by New Way Construction. Isaiah, in my opinion is a very honorable man. His work we are very pleased with, and is dedication to my ultimate satisfaction was extremely appreciated. I have and will continue to recommend his services to family and friends. Of course there were hiccups along the way, to be expected with any large undertaking, but overall my wife and I are very happy with our pool and our choice of contractor. Thanks Ed!
