After a referral from a friend, I contacted AB Countertops to purchase a bathroom vanity countertop and a small piece for the top of a shower curb. (and mount a sink I provided under the counter). I was asked for the measurements (which I thought strange as there can be all kinds of things custom to each install - i.,e. wall corners not 90 degrees, etc.) While the timelines discussed seemed a bit slow, I realize that ours was just one countertop as opposed to a whole house job. After a call from the salesperson that the countertop was ready, I went to the shop facility to pick up. (no info as to who to see on site) after finally finding someone, they said it will be a few minutes. Then, I could see a worker gluing the sink to the counter (so it was hardly ready to pick up). When this was done, I took the unit home. The sink was poorly attached to the counter - I had to silicone some gaps and was worried that it may fall off when installed on the vanity. Visually, it is acceptable. The shower curb top: I made the measurements my self, and messed up and measured 2" to narrow. Fine, my fault. I tried to contact the salesperson I dealt with 12+ times via email, text and received only one response - that they were busy due to illness; nothing after that. If you don't want to or can't do the work, just tell me, but to not even reply is rude! I finally got a small piece from another granite company, and would recommend them. Stay away from AB Countertops is my advice.

I took the Advanced Bread Making class and it was great! We are split into teams and everyone makes a different style of loaf (or whatever it is that you are learning that day). You can walk around and see what everyone is doing and Celeste, the owner, is guiding you. At the end everyone shares in a family style meal with usually something additional that Celeste made. No clean up just good chats and good food. Take the recipes home and try them out. And if you're considering buying a big ticket item this is a great way to try out some of the machines cause we used so many of them so what a great way to try before you buy! The classes are in the evening so there is no worry if other people bugging staff. Be prepared to stay a little late since we are learning and then enjoying a meal. Totally worth it.

So I walked in and this store is amazing! First the staff were very friendly, everything was very clean and sanitized was provided at the front. There were lots of pots and pans and utensils. All sorts of cooking gadgets, storage gadgets, and baking pans. In the back of the store there is a pantry section, this is where I found the citric acid I needed. They have tons of spices and baking ingredients plus more in the pantry. I found the prices on these items quite reasonable considering this is a smaller local business that is family owned. The aisles were large as well! I highly recommend you check this place out if you're looking for any specialty items or neat gadgets or the next time you want to bake something! Barb's is a must shop!

Many of their sheets are imported from Italy, so expect a higher price, but also an unbelievably comfortable bed! They have just branched out into kitchen items as well and have some very high end appliances that I could see fitting perfectly on my counter top. I just have to convince the husband that we NEED beautiful (and expensive) appliances! My must haves were semi gloss lacquer upper cabinets and continuous horizontal grain walnut base cabinets to go over my freshly laid polished porcelain Calacatta marble floor tiles. Florkowsky's was hired approximately Feb 30/15. They removed the old kitchen cabinets and built and installed brand new cabinets and I had a fully functional kitchen with exactly what I had asked for by May 6/15. Overall the timeframe to completion was a bit long however I can't fault Florkowsky's entirely for that. What is more important to me is the overall outcome of my kitchen and I must say I am in LUV! Here are a couple of examples of what this company will do to ensure the client is happy: 1) I could not decide on the finish/ how much gloss I wanted on the upper cabinetry. I finally decided on 25 %, the upper cabinets were all installed and when I saw them I didn't like the finish, it was too matte. The installers removed all the doors, took them back to the shop, resprayed them with 40% and reinstalled them. 2) ordered multiple sheets of walnut veneer until I found the "ones" 3) I picked out all the cabinet hardware, it was ordered and delivered and then I changed my mind. I found some other cabinet hardware online that I preferred and Jason got it for me! Would I recommend this company? Yes, in a heartbeat! Combine all of the above with quality materials and craftsmanship and impeccable attention to detail, it's a win win and what you will get if you hire Florkowsky's. This is a company that truly cares about the customer. I thought I was picky but Florkowsky's installers exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier. I love my kitchen so much, if I could... The lady who owned the store was chatting away showing off new items in the clothing boutique at the back of the room. She was lovely and very approachable. I needed up buying a top and necklace for my mother in law. The fashion is really nice and aimed at ladies in their 40s+ I would say. I was into plenty of it, as they have a really nice on trend rack. The home wares are fun interior decor items inc paintings, ornaments, furniture, vases and mirrors. I have my eye on a cactus cookie jar. They were in the middle of taking down all their Christmas stuff so can't wait to see what stock they put in it's place.

Many items are very appealing and would look great in a variety of different rooms within a home. Not only are there Decor items, the store also carries Clothing, Jewelry, and a variety of Handbags as well. I had no idea this store existed until I looked on Yelp and realized that I drive by this store on the way to work every day. So glad I stopped in. Worth a look!
