My Xterra started missing heavily and running horribly while I was in the beaver creek park area. I turned around and nursed it into Elkins and the first shop I saw was a little hole-in-the-wall place called "See's Automotive" and I immediately u-turned and went in. I gave Tommy the situation and he said he could take a look if I didn't mind waiting for his current customer to finish up. Ended up being a cylinder 1 misfire, needed a coil and plug. Swapped out all of them on bank 1 and I was back on my way and at a very reasonable price. They knew I was at their mercy being from out of town with an undrivable car but they were honest, and friendly and even took care of my GSD and Malinois I had in the back. First visit: I took two bike rims and new Shinko 777 tires to Silers to be balanced, the front…read moretires, had a vibration on the front of the bike and took it back to Siler's, Chris said Quote: It's only out 1/4 ox. found was out of balance but did not change to weight. I took it to another bike shop they rebalanced the tire and rim resolving the bike vibration issue. Second Visit: I scheduled and waited three weeks for a motorcycle appointment to get the carb adjusted - mixture adjustment or re-jetted due to decel' exhaust popping. I dropped bike at Siler's one business day prior to appointment date. I saw 12 bikes in the shop, a week later I get a call from " Chris " stating he broke a spark plug connector and was ordering a replacement. Two weeks later I called and Chris told me he now had fifteen bikes in the shop and FIVE bikes to repair ahead of mine ( after three weeks ) I decided to go get the bike that very same day as it was sitting in the exact same spot collecting dust, To add to this, to get the bike out of Siler's I had to pay a $95.00 "Diagnostic Fee" for which they did nothing whatsoever except pull a plug wire breaking the connector. I Rode the bike home and I resolved the exhaust decel popping issue in 30 minutes myself in my home garage by simply adjusting the carb mixture. ..........I DO NOT, recommend Siler's
