They are nothing more than a taxi service that takes insurance and no tips so cheaper than regular public taxi service. The branch here is just regular must climb up to get inside vans or taxi cabs! The drivers will put your wheelchair or walkers in the back of a van or into a car trunk like luggage ... once you've gotten your own self into the vehicle ... and will get them out and put them next to the vehicle upon reaching destination leaving you to get out on your own. They won't even get out to do that if it is snowing and icy or otherwise bad weather so YOU will have to get somebody else to retrieve your wheelchair or you will just have to manage it yourself -- even if in ice and snow! Good luck if you are weak, unsteady, handicap, disabled, mobility impaired, recently discharged from hospital, in pain, just had surgery, etc. and are using them for returning home or going to a follow appointment soon after discharge, because then the driver won't even get out at all! At best they'll call upon arrival to hospital to announce that parked outside and leave it to the staff there (or to you) while they remain behind the wheel. If appointment is not located at a hospital then you had better call and check with doctor office, the lab for testing/imaging, etc. ahead of time just to make sure they will actually have and will be able to send out some of their staff to take care of you and to see you safely in and out of the vehicle and into the building and back again! And you will need a caregiver/helper any place else. They won't even help you to the front door of your own home.
